We stayed for a month at this cottage on Carsten Lane. The house was as listed. With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths we had plenty of room for 2 couples. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need to cook. There is plenty of seating in the living room and for dining. The location was convenient for walking to most attractions and restaurants. We only used our car to go off the island or grocery shopping. There are a couple grocery stores within walking distance for small shopping trips. The host was very responsive answering questions and for a couple issues that came up.

Colorful KW cottage near cemetery

This cottage is decorated "Key West cute!" It was bright, colorful and comfortable. We loved a lot of the funky art pieces, island vibe and decor. Overall, we felt at home and would gladly return if it is available again at a fair value.Supplies and items for planning: You'll need to bring or purchase your own beach items (chairs, umbrella, towels). There were two pedal bikes for our use Yay:) There is no outside grill but we didn't miss it. The kitchen is set up with all of the basic cooking items you'll need (blender etc). Reliable wifi for remote workingLocation: It is very close to the KW cemetery and within walking and biking distance to everything in town (about a mile or so from Duval, wharf, water front, beaches). There is one smaller off-street parking space in the back alley for a midsize car but we seldom drove except going to and from the airport, exploring the other key areas, when we needed to carry a bunch of stuff to the beach or get a bigger grocery order. We used our electric bike (added over 100 miles!) and the 2 regular pedal bikes that were left for our use for the majority of our outings. The best part of this rental experience was being in the heart of Key West and also our hero agent, Scott Forman, who managed this listing was exceptionally attentive and helpful! Since this was a first time listing, there were several details that needed attention during our stay and he was quick to respond and take care of all of them.
