Wine Country Getaway Chalet Pet Friendly

A newly renovated private retreat in Dahlonega wine country - 5 miles from the square. This house is perfect for a small family or friends, with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and a large deck for entertaining. Our cabin is set on 3 private acres with easy access the Dahlonega Square and many fantastic restaurants and wineries.
The space
Newly renovated from top to bottom. Upgraded furnishings in soft textures, high quality linens and towels, finishes like weathered woods, cozy rugs, wood flooring, and SO much more!

Two large and spacious bedrooms upstairs with plush king size beds that will ensure an amazing night's rest. We have black out curtains in both bedrooms upstairs. There is also a newly renovated and luxurious bathroom upstairs with a shower and tub.

Downstairs on the main level, you will find another bedroom with a queen cozy plush 12 inch memory foam mattress, a full size kitchen, bath (with tub/shower) and a bonus room with table and chairs. This space is great for eating or playing :)

We have tried to incorporate all the details that will make your time here relaxing and memorable. We think you will notice and appreciate all the effort we have put into doing just that!

Cabin was clean and had lots of comforts of home, the stairs were really steep and depth were high. Doors could use a stay toKeep them open. Excellent Weekend Getaway

We love Dahlonega and wanted a house to stay with multiple friends this time instead of right in the square. The location was just a quick drive to all the things we love to do. The house is quaint and had ample space for 6 of us. Will book again!

This is an amazing place to stay with all you would need for a relaxing stay! We would totally recommend this property to family and friends!! The hostess was so easy and accommodating. We added a couple of days to the end last minute. Our stay

We had an awesome time. I think if I had to change anything I would put a bed in the downstairs where the movie theater was. The kids loved it there and wanted to sleep downstairs but there was no bed, and maybe an electric fireplace it does get a bit colder downstairs. Other than that we absolutely loved our stay. We thank you for opening your beautiful cabin to us!

The home is cute on the inside, but very small. To get from the kitchen to the kitchen table, you have to go down a hallway and past the bathroom. Also, two of the three bedrooms are up a steep staircase, unfortunately not suitable for my 81 year old mom. When we arrived, it didn't seem like anyone had stayed in some time because the home had a musty smell. One bedroom not two

So I want to start off by saying this is a one bedroom not two. The second “bedroom” is a loft where if you need to use the restroom you need to walk down a flight of stars. The bathtub leaked water and was quite uneven. The fireplace was dirty and therefore we did not feel comfortable using it. There was not a fire alarm in the house, it had been taken down. There was a lot about this stay I was not happy about but the biggest thing for me was walking downstairs in the middle of the night to use the restroom. Also the upstairs “bedroom” was very hot because there is not a vent up there. Even when sleeping with the window open it was still very hot all night.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. You are the first guest that has any sort of issue with our property. We have had nothing but 5 star reviews across all booking platforms. This is a very highly rated property. Just to clarify, the house is actually a legal 2 bedroom, 2 bath home just as we advertise. We do utilize the loft as the second bedroom and it sleeps 4 people. This is advertised in the listing and photos. There is a vent upstairs as well as a fan and we haven't had any issues or complaints with it being hot until now but we will be sure to take a look to make sure all is functioning properly. We realize that one of the smoke alarms was removed (it has since been replaced) but there are SEVERAL other smoke alarms as well as carbon monoxide detectors. The bathtub had a small drip which has since been remedied. Also, I don't know what is meant by it being uneven as it is a cast iron tub on a tile surface. Extremely heavy and perfectly even. Thanks again for staying us. We would have been happy to remedy any concerns you had with some communication.

Really great home, central to all Dahlonega

We stayed for one week while evacuating from a hurricane, and participating in family events surrounding my mother's funeral. Even under those circumstances, this home stood out as relaxing and well-appointed. We hope to stay again to visit family and enjoy the area.
