We absolutely loved our time at Art’s beach retreat! The home was immaculate, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and amazing views steps from the beach. Close to Pinellas Trail, shopping, and restaurants. Hosts were fantastic start to finish!! Great community and we can’t wait to go back next year!

I never take the time to review rentals because I'm too lazy, but I must make an exception. Great hostess, spotless, well equipped, well decorated, quiet, fifty feet to the beach, beautiful sunsets, excellent heated pool, and I must've left something out but whatever it is it get's a high mark. We'll be back next year.

The condo was very tastefully decorated; the furniture & beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with everything guests need to cook& eat in. The weather was perfect. The sunsets were gorgeous. The complex was quiet. Nice patio overlooking the pool & the Gulf. We like the area because it’s residential only with no high rises so guests get the beach to themselves. Yet it is close to all the shops, grocery & top restaurants.

Great getaway!!

The condo is a little piece of paradise. It is in a great location right on the Gulf, and had everything we needed to make our stay quite pleasant. Parking is very convenient (right outside the door), and we enjoyed the pool as much as the weather would allow. The condo is in a nice, quiet complex. The owners were very responsive and attentive. Highly recommended!!

Cozy, great location

We really enjoy our stay. The home had everything that you would need for your vacation. It was very clean. The location was ideal. It is very close to the pool and the beach access. We really enjoyed the patio with the view of the ocean. There is a small tree that provided shade at any part of the day. The complex was very quiet, with a short drive to either Indian Shores or Clearwater. We had the pleasure of meeting Kim. She was very attentive to all our needs. We hope to stay again!

Perfect Family Getaway!

We loved, loved, loved our stay at Kim and David's property. The unit itself was well stocked - as other reviewers mentioned - there were plenty of beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and toys. The unit was also clean with a very well stocked kitchen and decent knives! These elements made it easy to settle in and relax! There was more than enough room for our family of four - we loved the convienience of walking just a few steps to the pool and beach. The atmosphere was so relaxing, we opted to eat every meal in and utilized the charcoal grill almost every night. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Perfect quiet beach vacation

This home made us feel right at home! The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils, cookware, and plenty of dishes and glasses. Right on a gorgeous beach, perfect for long walks and paddle ball. The beach chairs and beach towels were fantastic! Highly recommend this home for a relaxing, quiet vacation.

Relaxing family fun

Kim and David's place is in a wonderful complex with a friendly, community feel. The condo opens on the ground floor and you can see the beach and the pool from the patio. The condo was well stocked with all the kitchen tools you need, beach towels, beach toys, chairs, and an umbrella. Kids toys and scooters really sealed the deal! We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to go back next summer.

Great Time at the Beach

We are a family of four with kids in their 20s. This property is very spacious, clean and nice. The complex is quiet and well maintained. The beach is amazing and the area has stores and dining nearby. The owners are very attentive and responsive. Great stay!

We spent January in this home. My first month of retirement was all we could ask for. The home was well furnished with many thoughtful extras. (Towels galore, Porta crib, blankets and pillows) we highly recommend this home away from home.

The condo had everything we needed. The owners thought of everything from beach accessories, extra linens, kitchen and laundry supplies etc... Closets were meticulously labled so that we knew what linens went to what room. Parking was great and there is a pool. The Gulf beach is right outside and we enjoyed walking on the beach. I was also impressed with the outside grill though we did not use it. I highly recommend this place as the poly and city bus also stopped right in front and you could take it to the beach Pier 60 or in the other direction all the way down to treasure island.

September 2018. What a charming condo with a perfect view of the water from the back porch! The pool that is just outside of the backdoor overlooks the private beach in this gated community. My 5 year old grandson enjoyed himself so much that he did not want to leave! I have rented numerous places and this was by far my favorite. The bottles of wine, watermelon, and the color-me octopus for Jake made us smile (especially my wife), Thank you very much for the personal touch. 10/10 would do it all over again!

Beautiful rental just steps from the beach!

I can honestly say the pictures online do not do this beautiful rental justice. It was just a few steps to the pool, and also to a beautiful beach. The gulf waters were so warm and my family of four had a blast swimming in them. The rental had everything we could have possibly needed, including beach chairs, nice fluffy towels, every kitchen amenity we could have needed, an outdoor grill, and fun board games. My husband and I had an amazing time with our two teenage daughters both at the beach and then playing games around the kitchen table at night. We took photos of the sunset on the beach each night and it truly was breathtaking. It was one of the most relaxing weeks we have ever had and we will definitely be going back again! Kim was amazing to deal with and such a great person. I highly recommend this beautiful home and beautiful beach! It was not a commercial area at all, but there were plenty of wonderful seafood restaurants, and even an Italian restaurant, within five minutes at Indian Rocks Beach. There was also a fun little ice cream place where the girls could get souvenirs. Simply put, we had such a wonderful time and the rental was great. Super clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Best Vacation Location!!

Our stay was amazing!! The condo is absolutely beautiful and the owners were wonderful!! We arrived to find a lovely welcoming gift including fresh Florida blueberries!! The note from Kim and David said to enjoy the fresh blueberries that were currently in season and to have a wonderful stay!! I have never arrived to a rental and found a welcoming gift!! The condo is perfect!! It is situated just steps from the beach, steps from the pool and also situated amongst the best neighbors!! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming!! Everything in the condo was just as advertised!! Everything you could need for a vacation was at the condo! It made packing easy and we didn’t need to buy anything for our time on the beach!! The condo is very well stocked with linens, beach towels, hair dryers and even sunscreen!! It made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay!! Oh and one of the nicest washer/dryer sets I have ever seen in a rental!! The area is also wonderful!! Extremely peaceful and quiet at the condo but within minutes you can be in bustling Clearwater Beach or enjoying a quiet dinner at the many restaurants just south of Belleair Beach!! The other really nice convenience is that we were just minutes from the airport in St. Petersburg. It was nice to have a short drive to and from the airport, adding to the relaxation of our vacation!! I would highly recommend this rental and we are definitely planning a return visit!! Beautiful home and great location!

This property was everything we had hoped for. It had plenty of space for a family of 5, including a kitchen, outdoor grill, and large dining table so we ate most of our meals at home. Being close to the beach was important to us and you can't really get any closer than this! We had the beach to ourselves most days. Watched spectacular sunsets most nights! Hope to return in the future!

Wonderful relaxing beach vacation for our family.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a wonderful week at this cozy beach retreat. The owners have thought of everything you may need from beach towels to canopies, grapefruit knife to sunscreen. The best part is the quiet beach is just steps away from the condo. Our kids enjoyed bicycling into Clearwater daily. Thank you for sharing your beach retreat with us. A Place Where Locals Go To Get Away

Living in the Tampa Bay Area for over 20 years, this is my favorite place to take the family when we want to get away. We love to go out to the beach first then hit the pool. We normally find our way up the road to Clearwater Beach at some point. A slow, easy drive down Gulf Blvd. toward St. Pete Beach is one of the best drives in the country.

Great family spot

We stayed at this condo the beginning of April 2016. We have 3 kids ages 6,9, and 11. It was the perfect spot for our family. The beach was quiet, we felt like it was our own private beach, and the water was shallow which was perfect for our young kids. The kids also loved the pool. I appreciated that Kim was very responsive to all my questions prior to our stay and that she checked in on us while we were there. She even made a last minute adjustment weeks prior to our stay, as we didn't need our last night stay and was able to refund that almost immediately. We loved that all we needed were our suitcases and groceries. Linens, towels, beach toys, boogie boards, beach umbrellas were all waiting for us. I also appreciated that simple things like coffee, filters, spices and oil were in the cupboard and that there was laundry and dishwasher detergent too. The area was great. Fun restaurants, ice cream shops and mini golf nearby. We even checked out Universal Orlando for a day, which was about 1 hr 45 min drive. Somehow I missed that the condo is 2 stories (not sure how I missed that but I did). The master BR is huge and they had a selection of blow up mattresses, so our youngest slept in the master BR on a twin blowup mattress. The other bedroom has 2 twin beds. I liked that our entire family could sleep on the same floor (upper level). I cannot speak to the pullout sleeper on the main floor because we did not need it. I would highly recommend this place. We had a GREAT vacation.

Los Caracoles is everything we could have hoped for. Attractive, well kept, steps from the beach.

The unit is attractive, spacious, comfortably furnished and supplied with lots of towels, paper and cleaning supplies as well as some cooking staples. The configuration of the buildings is conducive to friendly interaction with neighbors. The location is great - a quiet residential area with shopping and restaurants nearby. The owners were welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable. We are looking forward to returning next year.
