Kingfisher Point: Beautiful New Home on Cassadaga Lake
This stylish new lake house was completed in September of 2022, and we are excited to open it to visitors to the Cassadaga Lake. Our home on Cassadaga Lake rests among the trees of an old growth forest adjacent to protected wetlands. Guests can enjoy the sun setting over the lake each evening from one of two porches facing the lake, or from the kayaks that are available to guests. And yes, Kingfishers are frequent visitors to the lakes as well! (No smoking and no pets allowed).
This peaceful home in the woods has two queen bedrooms and a loft (with two twin beds) overlooking the great room. The sectional sofa has a full-sized pull-out bed for anyone who prefers not to use the loft.
There are two full baths, one with a bathtub, and a fully equipped kitchen as well. A gas grill outside and a firepit easily extend living to the outdoor spaces which include deck furniture and outdoor eating spaces. A private nature trail to the wetlands leads to more secluded space in the old growth forest.
Guests will have full access to the home and the property. This is a quiet residential neighborhood where you can relax and enjoy the peace of the lake and the woods. The community would like to maintain this atmosphere, so no parties are allowed.
The loft is accessible by a ship's ladder which can be removed by parents if they wish to restrict access to the loft for younger children. Life jackets are provided for use with the kayaks and paddleboard. Note that the Cassadaga Lakes are renowned for excellent fishing and a fishing license is readily available nearby.

We are recently retired and have enjoyed traveling and staying in vacation homes throughout the country. We are happy to open Kingfisher Point to people traveling to Cassadaga and we have included all of the amenities we have most enjoyed on our travels. This home is right on the lake with lake views from every room, and from two porches overlooking the lake. We also provide a dock for easy lake access and several kayaks for children and adults.
Why they chose this property
We are happy to offer Kingfisher Point on the Cassadaga Lakes, a chain of three lakes which may be the best lakes for kayaking and fishing in New York State. The road circling the lake is also a perfect 5 K for those who like to run, walk and bike.
What makes this property unique
This home was built with the vacation traveler in mind, with lake views facing the setting sun, and easy lake access. The home sits on a secluded woodland site which is frequented by water birds, deer, and beaver.
