The home is beautiful on First Flight Run! Great communication for checkin, questions, & check out. Great location in Kitty Hawk and the neighborhood next to Big Buck's ice cream. While on the sound side, the house is a short drive across the highway to the ocean with public parking & bath house available next to the Black Pelican restaurant. Beautiful beach, no tags needed! The yard offered a great size (salt water) pool, 2 in pool lounging chairs plus deck sun loungers, hot tub, bocce court, gas grill, and propane fire pit. Inside is a huge kitchen with plenty of dishes, glassware, and silverware. Pots and pans are more for a family of 4 (small & no stock pot) and that made cooking difficult for a group of 7. No oven mits or trivets for hot dishes available and only (2) kitchen hand towels. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and linens and bath towels provided. Bring your own beach towels! Game room offers additional couch (much more comfortable than the livingroom couch), air hockey, shuffleboard, and fuse ball plus washer and dryer. Drink fridge in the game room off the outdoor patio/pool was a huge plus. MUST bring hand soap for bathrooms, TP, paper towels, and dishwasher tablets as they were not provided. Would recommend! This home has a sensor that triggers an alarm that goes off if the doors to the pool are opened and the button to reset the alarm was not pressed. NC law and very important for all families especially if traveling with little kids!
