The newest addition to Casa Juanita, #4 is a quaint second floor apartment with a brand new king bed, private bath with shower, nicely equipped kitchen and foldout sofa in the living room. Fully air conditioned. A sweet little balcony looks over the street and down into the lovely new pool area. Only 1 block to the beach and 8 blocks into town, Casa Juanita has a great location in the quiet end of town. Free wi-fi, large DVD library at the Abbey del Sol office just one house away. Your linens are supplied and cleaning every 7 days is included.

Reviewer Comments: The gate to Milko’s welcomes you to a refreshing oasis, with a lovely pool surrounded by flowers, potted palms and a large fountain gurgling in the corner. It’s time to relax!Four 1-2 bed units are on two floors around and overlooking the patio/pool. It’s a cosy setting so guests usually get to know each other as they come and go. We also enjoyed the street life from a small balcony off our 1-bedroom. Milko and Juanita are friendly and very helpful. They work tirelessly to keep the place spotlessly clean and comfortable. We’ve visited several times and will return!

Miko did a great job of taking care of us and explained everything we needed to know. We enjoyed the pool, and the flowers around Casa Juanita are so beautiful! It was a short walk to the beach and town. There is a nice grocery store near the square. When we were there in March, they required a mask. No exceptions! We were a bit disappointed with the amount of sea grass on the beach. We were told they couldn’t keep up with cleaning it up at this time of the year. We made the best of it! You could still go in the water without a problem. We listened to plenty of music while we were there and the food at the local restaurants was great and reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back!

If you desire a quiet location, however a short walk to the beach and beach restaurants/bars, and if you want to shop in the downtown area…..you can walk, you can bike ride or you can call a cab. In the evenings take that cool dip in the pool, surrounded by a tropical paradise of plants…..cocktails relaxing in the breeze…..WELL You’ve found the right place Casa Juanita is a special find Thank you Maliko (and wife) for an unforgettable memorable stay with you. Great return trip to PM!

Milko was so easy to work with. The property was exactly as pictured. There were two other rooms book for a day while there but it was never bothersome and everyone was lovely. My nurse did not show for my covid test and when they found out they gave me a ride and offered to bring me back as well. I’d recommend renting bikes. We have walked and biked into town and the bikes were very convenient. And inexpensive! Best for a couple but you could easily book 2 rooms next to each other. Beautiful property!

I can't say enough about the quality of care from Milkos, Marciela and Nancy! they are quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Juanita #4 is clean, has a comfy king bed, lots of kitchen items and a super cute bathroom! I loved that TV & safe instructions, house rules etc were all clear and concise. the pool was a nice addition on hot afternoons! coffee shop is close by as well as a fish/meat market and of course there is the square!

Casas are private with pretty much all you may need in a kitchen. Very comfortable and clean. Milko and Juanita could not be more inviting. Highly recommend.

Lots of construction, prices are up. Abbey del Sol offers a peaceful setting with considerate, friendly, efficient staff and management. We had two 3-night stays at Milko's Casa Juanito (#4 and #1) Feb and March/20. Both apartments were immaculately clean, comfortable and colourful, with lots of kitchen and beach supplies. Milko responded immediately to every small problem, despite the stress and distractions of the corona crisis. We would happily return..

Excellent Property, Great Experience

The property and apartment were wonderful and as described. The staff was also excellent, always available, and always responsive. Though the square was about a 10 minute walk away, we always felt safe being out and about. We rented bikes (from Puerto Morelos Green Bikes) which made our travel around town easy and fun. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to create their own travel adventure.

Casa Juanita #4 was a very nice room overlooking Ninos Heroes Ave. From our morning coffee on the balcony watching birds in nearby trees, to the two minute walk to the beach and Dive Lodge Bar and quick strolls into eat at nearby restaurants, we loved every minute of our time. Milko was super helpful getting us acquainted with the room and its amenities and also set us up with rental bikes which really make the trips into the supermarket easy. Ride Mexico also made it very easy getting to and from the airport. We will continue to rent Abbey Del sol properties any time we are in POMO. Can't wait for our next trip to POMO. Love the town, the people and the laid back vibe. It may be just minutes away from Cancun, but it is worlds away when it comes to the quaint atmosphere and slow pace.
