Great location and Transportation Access

The home was spacious and the basement loft was great for relaxing. The property needs some love and care to make it perfect. Accessibility to public transportation is great.

there were no shops nearby, but BART train across the street is great, so long as you are ok with the building shaking and train noise every 6 minutes from 5 am to past midnight. there were so many things wrong that it's hard to recount them all: most important is that the owner did respond when advised of a problem and tried to get most of it fixed but the basic situation was unfixable: furniture is Salvation Army, no wall pictures or any sort of decent decoration - feels like 1 Star hotel room on a lonely highway road. dead ants in 1 bathroom and no one came to kill the live ants in 2 bedrooms/bathrooms, skylight/roof leaked onto stove/floor for 3 days, towels were so inadequate and when additional towels were provided, they were stained and frayed, closet hangers were so few that our cloisters had to lie on floor, and they were the cheap metal hangers from dry cleaners, there is only a 2 drawer night table in a bedroom so no place to put out your clothes, the window blinds are cheap plastic, broken in every room and while you could twist them open/close, they can't be raised or lowered, the backyard garden is a huge mess. kitchen had no condiments for cooking, dishwasher broken and never got fixed plus it was full of dirty dishes upon arrival with a sign 'broken' on it that looked weeks old, and so much more- nightmare memory and an embarrassment for me to have booked it for my 3 business partners to stay in for a week. Vrbo complaint line was attentive but useless.

We came for to celebrate birthday's. The location was great we walked across the street to the train to go into San Fransisco. We had a wonderful time there. Just remember if you go to rent this house you will feel the shaking of the house when they train is running and hear it. It was fine with all of us. The house needs some tender loving care. Some of the blinds where broken. The back yard needs some TLC also The floors where dirty. Turned socks and feet black. The towels where new with tags still on them. The house is in a great location to get the Bart or bus to go into San Fransisco. Suggestion: Set up like a 3 ring binder. 1. do a list of food place around the area to order from. 2. things to do in San Fransisco and surrounding area. 3. Have things that you would like for the renters to do at the of there stay there at way they don't have to bother you with questions. I had a good stay there. it was close to the things we wanted to do.

not what i expected

place was not clean, kitchen sink was liking, ants all over, dirty dishes in the oven and dish washers, not enough cleaning supplies, towels had never been wash, still have tags, no kitchen towels or kitchen rugs, no trash bags. cleaning lady was not done and was still there after 6:00pm. place needs fixing. trash from prior renters was never picked up. lot of food left over on drawers, empty bottle of liquor in cabinet. nice little place but needs work done. this was are first time in san francisco, ask owner for some assistance but was not deliver. very short communication and only after booking. had to correct adress, it was wrong adress on confirmation. i believe price was to high for what we got, i’m very disappointment.
