Enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this historic getaway - a 1000 acre working cattle and wildlife ranch in central Texas situated along a bend in the Colorado River. Entering the original ranch house built in 1913 is like stepping back in time. While Comfortably furnished with modern amenities, the house maintains the structure and rustic charm of the historic home. Enjoy the marked hiking trails, stargazing, swimming/fishing in the river, observing wildlife, rock and relax on the wrap around porch.
The space
There are two bedrooms downstairs. One with a king size bed and one with two full size beds. Upstairs is a large "bunk" room (no climate control) with 8 twin beds.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire 1000+ acre property via marked hiking trails and roads. This includes the river frontage.
Other things to note
The house is heated and cooled with window units, which keep the downstairs comfortable in hot or cold weather. The upstairs bunk room is not climate controlled. Fire place not functional
