Wood is provided as well! The cabin features an outdoor fire pit with seating around for 4! There’s lots of outdoor activities beyond the cabin including fishing, hiking, horse trailing, ATV’s and snowmobiles! (Rentals located in Duck Creek Village) .
CABIN FEATURES:
-Kitchen is stocked with everything to make a meal, along with an array of seasonings, and coffee/sugar/creamer/flavored syrups and organic tea.
-Enjoy the fireplace for heat and ambiance
-Feel free to use the washer & dryer. Detergent is complimentary
-Cabin is off the grid, while others will experience power outages, you will not :)
-Patio furniture usually available May/June through October (depending on snowfall)
-Wi-Fi
Guest access
Guests can access the entire cabin! There are 4 rooms total and an air mattress to add for additional sleepers.
Other things to note
-Be sure to put address in navigation because you will lose service while close to the cabin to ensure you arrive safely!
-Store hours are limited so check beforehand if you’re needing any extras… most places are closed on Sunday’s.
IMPORTANT WINTER ADVISORY:
We are thrilled to share our cabin with you, but there are a few important things you should know. Mountain life is very different from surrounding larger cities. The weather is unique, and the village too! 4-wheel drive vehicles is a necessity out here in the mountains. (December-March). We highly recommend having chains with you before heading down. Put chains on before attempting the hills. Please check the weather before your trip. A helpful tool is UDOT which gives you real-time updates on roadway and weather conditions. There is a snow plow that services the area when snow reaches 8” or more. When snow is present, roads may become slippery in freezing conditions, or with a few inches of fresh snow. There may not be cell service up there, so please plan accordingly. Wi-Fi is active at the cabin, but not up the mountain to get to the cabin.
