My quiet flat in Paris - Montmartre

Magnificent apartment, luminous, comfortable and quiet. Perfect for four people. Ideally located in Montmartre - typical district of Paris, rich in activities, bars and restaurants - at the foot of the funicular to reach the Sacré Coeur. The closest underground, Abbesses and Anvers, are 100m away.
The housing was completely renovated in 2015. Located on the 2nd floor with elevator, the apartment is very quiet, overlooking courtyard and fully soundproofed.
The bedroom with a double bed overlooks courtyard and the large room is through courtyard. It consists of a living room, an open kitchen / dining room and a study. There is a convertible for two people in the street side office. It is a very pleasant apartment to live in a neighborhood that moves.
High-speed Wifi.
Strictly non-smoking and non-vaping, including at windows.
Possibility of additional parking.

We had a lovely stay here and already planning a trip back! We’ve always stayed in Monmarte but never at a VRBO due to noise concerns but the description is accurate- this place is peaceful. Bathroom was good size, with two sinks with the toilet in a separate area.. it was small but we had no issue with it. Both beds were super comfortable and the unit was well maintained. We used the washer a few times and air dried our clothes, which was faster than a dryer. Since we were there during the high temperatures, we appreciated the air conditioning in the living room. As a previous commenter mentioned, there is a camera inside the doorway but it’s pointed directly at the door and not elsewhere. Karine confirmed that this was for security reasons only, which I appreciated.The lock was a bit tricky (could be that we didn’t figure it out or bothered to ask since it was our last day) but if the door is locked from the outside, I think you need to unlock the door from the inside (my husband Iocked the door when he went out and I couldn’t leave until he got back since we only had one key). My advice would be to not lock the door if someone is inside.Karine was extremely responsive and excellent host. If you love Monmarte, this place is the perfect location.Can’t wait to be back.

Regarding the lock — thank you for bringing this up. Just to clarify for future guests: when someone is inside the apartment, there is no need to lock the door from the outside, as the door is automatically secured from that side whether the lock is engaged or not. This way, the person inside can open the door freely without needing the key. I'm also glad the air conditioning helped during the warm days, and that you felt comfortable and reassured about the camera setup. Looking forward to welcoming you back on your next Parisian getaway!
