About this property

Welcome to The Farm! This is a fully restored 4-bedroom farmhouse in a park-like setting.

With 3 queen beds, 1 bunk bed, and 1 twin bed, this house sleeps up to 9 but is still cozy enough for two. There is a large kitchen-dining area overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway and abundant outdoor space with picnic tables, a firepit and hot tub. The house is private and secluded, yet DoorDash still delivers here! The house is situated on 5 acres and is immediately adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Although you'll feel out in the country, downtown Roanoke is just 10 minutes from your door! The Wal-Mart Supercenter is just 5 minutes away if you need groceries, drinks or party supplies!

There is a washer, dryer, high speed WiFi and a hot tub. The den has a desk where you can set up a ‘vacation office’. There are board games & cards available as well. The Blue Ridge Parkway borders the farm and is readily accessible.

This property welcomes small gatherings / outdoor events.

This 100+ year old house and property was fully restored by the owners and has been hosting guests since 2022. Although new to the VRBO platform, the owners and this property are not new to hosting.

Pets are welcome, but this does have an additional fee due to the size of the house and the extra cleaning needed.

The outbuilding is accessed via a separate driveway and is not part of the stay. Owner may access the outbuilding during your stay. Due to the size of the property, there may be land maintenance activities (mowing, clearing of brush, etc.) during your time at the farm. This will only occur during the afternoon hours to minimize any impact on you.

AMAZING!

This was one of the best places we've ever stayed! The host Peter was very accommodating and was so helpful getting us in last minute after we had to leave a terrible property that we had also booked through VRBO. The house is on about 5 acres of quiet, private land with a family of deer that regularly visited us in the mornings to graze. The house is great! Very comfortable beds and fully stocked for families including a beautiful renovated kitchen, outdoor grill and a fantastic hot tub. The kids had a blast exploring the property and watching the wildlife. Will definitely be staying here again the next time we need a place in Roanoke.

AMAZING TIME!!!

The minute we drove up to this beautiful property and house we felt right at home!! We open the door to this gorgeous house and Peter and his wife had me a birthday card balloon and candy. Every time I messaged Peter he would get back to me very quickly and was a very respectful person. The only regret I had was we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you again Peter we will be back!!!

Family time on the farm.

From the moment you walk into the house, you feel like it's gonna be a special time. Everyone of our guests and my immediate family was charmed by the hardwood floors.The attention to detail and all of the amenities included with the house. We were meeting for a hard time for our family.We were bringing home my dad who died a few weeks ago. We had family coming from all across the united states and we needed a place that we could cut and meet and gather and talk and mostly there are thoughts about my dad's long life. The house provided that whether we were on the front porch In the living room, In the big farm style kitchen with all that light, Or out in the yard enjoying the fire pit.And sitting out watching the stars. The house just gave us peace which is exactly what we neede The host left a wonderful card and a bouquet of flowers.It was the first thing we saw when we walked in.It was a pleasure to sta We will be contacting the host to stay again within the year.
