Peaceful Studio Cottage In the Heart Of Silicon Valley

Enjoy a private, comfortable stay in silicon valley in a fully equipped cottage with wonderful bay views. Located 15 minutes away from Stanford and 25 miles from San Francisco, this home is suitable for 3 adults or a small family of 4.

This sunny, quiet and clean cottage has a king bed and a queen sized futon. An extra twin mattress can be placed upon request, and all necessary linens are provided to make your stay comfortable.

The cottage has air conditioning and heating systems, as well as a ceiling fan. There is a dining table and a work desk, as well as ample room for storage. It has a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, cooking and dining utensils. A full bathroom equipped with hairdryer and toiletries, Wi-Fi, flat screen TV with Cable and DVD player are also included.

The cottage has private access and a furnished outdoor lounge patio with a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay area. There is private parking, no need to park on the street. Linen and cleaning services are available upon request, with an additional charge. Laundry facilities are available on premises, with use upon request.

Your privacy is valued, so you can access the cottage independently and you will be provided with your own entry code/key. A package with basic information about the area (favorite local restaurants, entertainment, markets, hospitals, pharmacies) will be awaiting you upon arrival. However, if you were to need indications about the area, or any additional help, we are happy provide them.

The home is located strategically in a safe, green neighbourhood in the heart of silicon valley, 5 minutes away from downtown amenities, movie theaters, shops and hospitals. There is a large natural reserve with beautiful hiking trails walking distance from our house. One of the main connecting highways between San Francisco and San Jose (280) is 5 minutes away. Less than 10 minutes away is the Redwood City Caltrain Station that connects you to the entire Bay Area including SFO, San Francisco and Bart if you wish to cross the Bay. There is a bus line a 15 minute walk away, and buses in the area easily connect you to neighboring locations such as Menlo Park and Palo Alto.

Stayed here to be closer to work for a couple days. Quiet and beautiful neighborhood, enjoyed the view from high up on the hill. Communication with host about check in was easy and accurate. I appreciated the AC and internet. I would stay again.

The space was perfect and cleaned exceptionally well. The host also did an excellent job communicating with me throughout the stay and answering any questions I may have had. The temperature of the room was also perfect, with the fan working and the heater working efficiently. The location of the space was also perfect for my needs, and very close to grocery stores, restaurants, and only about 10min away from downtown! Overall, the stay was certainly a 10/10, and I’d highly reccomend a stay here!

Great place in Emerald Hills

This cottage was clean and very functional for me and my husband. Although it is a studio, there is plenty of room and has well-defined spaces for the kitchen with a small table, a sitting area, and a bed area with a king size super-comfortable mattress. There is plenty of parking and a nice paved patio in a secluded yard. The host was very responsive to any communications or needs. So happy that we found this little gem!

The brick walkway is uneven and dangerous in the dark. A quick fix would be to secure the bricks and include lighting. Otherwise...a good value

Great cottage in the hills above the bay.

I couldn’t really take advantage of the great outdoor seating areas since I stayed here during the rainy season. Overall all the cottage worked well for me. The parking was easy. The only downside was that the little extras were missing. I usually book with AirBNB and with that service there is normally a well stocked kitchen with a roll of paper towels or at least a dish towel. Napkins, dishwashing liquid, extra toilet paper, all of these items were absent from this unit.

Beautiful cottage with great views, outdoor space and a lemon tree.

The cottage is very sunny and larger than the listing might lead you to believe. The views are wonderful and the space around the cottage is very quiet and private. The host gives you your privacy and is very accomodating. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Hilltop charm

The cottage was spotless and very comfortable overall - especially the bed. It is a very quiet location at night and beautiful views from the patio in front and back upper yard. We had some initial difficulty using the remote to turn on the TV and the owner was very responsive and helpful. Jimenas was very welcoming and provided nutritious snacks for us to enjoy. Loved our stay and we hope to be back when visiting with our daughter and her family in the immediate area.

This is our second and not last visit to this cottage. It is clean and well appointed. We especially like that it is entirely self standing and we feel like it is our own home. The only thing I wish was better is communicating with the owner. They are a bit slow with answering questions but in the end it all worked out well

I really enjoyed staying at the cottage. It was very clean, private and quiet, with a little kitchen, private bathroom with extra towels, king-sized bed, and TV with on-demand. I met Jimena briefly, and she was a very good host. The cottage had everything I needed, but I feel that if I needed anything, she would be very responsive. The cottage is convenient to highway 280 and about 7 minutes from downtown Redwood City. The cottage was an outstanding value for the price. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

The cottage is in a beautiful location, nestled in the hills in a peaceful, nature-filled community with very easy access to any destination in the Valley. The cottage has ample space and all the amenities a small family or business traveler may look for. It is very clean, well kept, and comfortable. Behind the cottage is a small pathway to the seating area at the top of the gardens with a breathtaking view over the Bay. This is perfect spot for a morning tea/coffee before setting off on the day's events. A welcome basket includes nourishing treats and beverages that are of great comfort following a long day of travel. This is one to keep on your list of go-to accommodations.

Sanctuary in the hills

Cozy and comfortable stay. Perfect for us. We loved relaxing on the patio with the beautiful flowers and hummingbirds. Would definitely stay here again. Very comfortable large bed with soft sheets and blankets.
