Lovely Country Hideaway

After the bustle of Florence, and a larger Agriturismo with many guests, it was lovely to come to Violante's beautiful property in the country. The apartment is located with a view of olive groves and a lovely pool. The property is simply but adequately furnished, with air conditioning and plenty of room. One thing to note is that the only local grocery store has limited hours. It closes at 8:30 most nights, and 1:00 pm on Sundays. You may wish to shop for provisions before arrival, because it is so lovely once you get there you won't want to venture out to the store again in the evening. The property had salt, sugar and coffee when we arrived, so plan on supplying everything else. Violante and her team were very gracious hosts, and we loved the bottle of wine from the estate that was waiting on our arrival. We would definitely stay here again!
