Quiet spacious open plan studio bungalow in the heart of Norfolk countryside.

Orchard Studio is a single story spacious barn conversion situated in the quite village of Ashby St Mary.
The accomodation is spacious open plan with kitchen/dining/living areas forming the heart of the property. You will have access to the orchard garden with courtyard patio area with open countryside views and al fresco dining on southern decked area.
Covered parking is available.
The interior is light and spacious. Kitchen has hob/oven, extractor, dishwasher, fridge, toaster.
The main bedroom has king size bed, wardrobe and draws. The single bedroom can accommodate two with additional pull out bed.
Wet room with toilet, basin and shower.
We are 7 miles from Norwich/Beccles and Bungay. 40 minutes from coast.(Southwold, GT Yarmouth)
Or just walk down (10 minuits) to local pub with great food and drinks.

We had an amazing time here with our two children (age 11 & 15) for 8 days in Aug 2026.James was the perfect host for us. Messages prior to arrival, greeted us but then left us to it. We had his number and he was easily contactable, should we need him. He also left us a lovely chocolate cake, apple juice and a pint of milk to welcome us, which was really appreciated.Such a quiet and peaceful place. We instantly felt at home and loved the feeling of total relaxation and calm. My daughter who has autism, spent many peaceful hours on the swing, overlooking the rolling farmers fields. It was her special place and gave her the daily grounding she needed.We loved taking trips into Norwich and Great Yarmouth, both easily accessible by car.FOOD - The local village of Loddon has a lovely co-op.We had a takeaway from the local Chinese called Pearl Garden. Really nice with big portions. We ate at the local pub The George and Dragon. Food and service were really good.Less than 15 min drive away, we found Zaks American Diner and had an amazing meal. The service was great, food very tasty and atmosphere perfect. On the pricy side for a family, but worth it for a treat! Booking advisable as it was very busy and popular, which is always a good sign!The accommodation had everything we needed, toilet rolls, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, cling film, condiments. These things are a must and certainly missed when not there! I could go on but I've run out of characters! Thank you James

Fantastic

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone. Having so much space outside for our dogs/child to play made a big difference for us. Inside the property was very clean and spacious. We would definitely stay again.
