About the host
Hosted by Darin Morris
After 25 years in Venice Beach, we've landed in Kukuihaele. I love meeting our guests who come from all around the world and sharing the beauty of our gardens, year round stream, gulch, rainforest and waterfall!
Why they chose this property
It's amazing here, so beautiful and quiet compared to metropolitan Los Angeles. We jumped at the opportunity to live full time in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the more densely populated places like Hilo and Kona. Ours is a fabulous place for a respite to rest and recollect oneself.
What makes this property unique
Throughout the day I have the soundtrack of our rainforest with birds singing, and at night a chorus of Coqui frogs making a party! The grounds are luxuriant and green. Every day I take in the year round stream with its large boulders and plants for a mini five minute vacation from the world - and recharge. What's more, we've a spectacular 50ft. waterfall on our property. I get that "Oh wow!" feeling every time I see it.
