Bring the whole family to this great 3 bedroom with lots of room for fun. This house has a large great room separated into a living room with a large TV and a dining area.

Located in Bedford, IN your house is 5 minutes to restaurants/shopping, 15 minutes from Bluespring Caverns, 20 minutes to Lake Monroe or Williams Covered Bridge, 30 minutes from IU Memorial Stadium, 35 minutes to Crane, and 90minutes to either Indianapolis or Louisville!

This house has a large master bedroom, furnished with a queen bed, and an ensuite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed while the 3rd contains vintage twin trundle beds.

The kitchen is fully functional with drip & k-cup coffee maker, pans, skillets, bakeware, pizza/cookie sheets, and cooking utensils. There are also dishes, glasses, mugs, and silverware available to use during your stay.

We were in town for Indiana University parents weekend and football game. Great house with everything we needed and location. Quick, convenient drive to Bloomington and Beford is nice too.

Cute house, built in 1940, but there was a stench of musty or moldy smell (we did not see mold). Put air freshners out to control the smell. Contacted the owner to inquire whether he had noticed it. He had not. House on a crawl space; however, not a dead animal smell. Smell may now be in the air filters which dispursed it throughout the home. We stayed 5 of the 6 days.There are some areas that need a bit more attention to detail. A little TLC, and minor improvements, goes a long way in making this home better.Plenty of beds for an average sized family. Decor was good, kitchen utensils basic, neighbors friendly, quiet neighborhood, good location for getting around and Bloomington is approximately 40 minutes away. Close enough for families visiting their kids attending Indiana University (IU). Communication with the owner was excellant. He responded promptly to any questions. He was willing to come fix a few things while we were there. Wasn't an emergency so no need to fix until we departed.If improvements are made and the smell is addressed, this home can continue on the road to excellant. Are we too picky? I don't think so. We want our hard earned money to be spent well. Don't discount this home. If minor improvements are made, this could be just what you are looking for in a vacation home.

State Parks and Caves

When we first checked the local made us question our choice not being familiar with Bedford. When we opened the door that all changed. The place was 5 star all around, very well decorated. The place was very clean; the beds were comfortable. The TV were ample for even a sports bar.

Very nice home with plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice to have a washer and dryer, as well as dishwasher and ice machine/filtered water via the refrigerator. There were plenty of extra blankets, pillows and towels provided. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe, and close to everything we needed- we even walked to a pizza place just up the street for dinner one night. The owner was very accommodating with great communication. I would definitely stay here again.
