About the host
Hosted by Rowena
Cam lived in Alaska 45+ years. He enjoyed the opportunities to travel to most areas of the State. Worked in the fishing, hunting and tourism industries. Loves all things Alaska and being able to share the experiences he has had. This is the family home where he raised his children.
Why they chose this property
It is a quiet mid-hillside home on the south side of Anchorage. Freshly remodeled with easy access to a vast number of hiking and outdoor activities in the Anchorage area. We look forward to hosting you at your home in Alaska.
What makes this property unique
Built in the 50s as a home for the workers building the Alaska Railroad, the home was moved to this neighborhood in 1965. That adds a little bit of history, a little bit of quirky, and a lot of space in a nice, quiet owner-occupied neighborhood that's close to everything families and large groups want from a home away from home.
