About this property
Mid century artistry in South Boulder!
Adventure awaits from your bright and pristine home away from home in South Boulder! We can't wait to share our thoughtfully put together space with you. You'll love the open concept kitchen and living room with spectacular views of the Flatirons from every window. Relax on the spacious redwood deck in the backyard while cooking on the grill, or whip up a 4 course meal in our chef friendly, state of the art kitchen. Don't feel like cooking? Downtown Boulder has a thriving foodie scene with restaurants ranging from high end to tucked away more affordable gems, depending on how you're feeling. Enjoy a multitude of the best hiking trails in Boulder right across the street, with direct access to the Mesa trail connecting the first, second and third Flatiron. After a day of hiking the hills, kick back at home with our carefully curated vinyl collection or watch a movie in the den on our smart tv.
Adventuring can be tiring, our plush bamboo beds will ensure you get the best sleep, providing a cozy spot in the winter and an airy feeling in the summer months. The primary bedroom has a king bed with down pillows and a down duvet in the winter, and cotton bedspread for the summer to ensure maximum sleeping comfort, appropriate to the seasons. The other two bedrooms both have queen beds and down duvet's and pillows as well. Enjoy another smart tv in the primary bedroom and Google and Alexa speakers in the two additional bedooms respectively.
The front and backyard are grassy and well maintained providing you with year round access during our famous 300 days of sunshine a year. Roll out your yoga mat on the deck in the morning and light a fire and roast marshmallows in the fire pit after the sun goes down. There are so many spaces in this house to explore and enjoy, with the additional family room, it's easy to let the kids watch a movie while the adults enjoy a glass of wine and conversation in the living room.
Transportation is a breeze! Just 40 minutes from Denver International Airport, about an $80 uber ride. There is also ample street parking right in front of the house. Want a more economical option? For $11 the RTD bus drops you 2 blocks from the house. We provide three adult sized cruisers for you to use during your stay with us, Boulder has an extensive bike trail system, you can cruise all over town without ever being on the road! We are located 2 miles from Pearl Street Mall, about a 10 minute ride, 5 minute drive or 7 minute bus ride away. Visiting a student? CU campus is 1/2 a mile away and is lovely to walk through.
We strive to make your stay as enjoyable, easy, and memorable as possible. Need anything that we haven't thought of? Just ask! We are Boulder natives who love to share what we enjoy about this unique town. We love your suggestions and are constantly looking for ways to elevate our guest's experience. About the host
Hosted by Rose Dykes

I grew up Boulder Colorado and love showing travelers what makes this place special. When I'm not hosting, I'm riding my horse or exploring other locations.
Why they chose this property
Martin acres is the neighborhood I grew up in. We are 4 generations here and couldn't love it more. I love this neighborhood because of the friendly people, quiet atmosphere and proximity to mountain trails.
What makes this property unique
The views of the flatirons are the best in Boulder! We feel blessed to be able to hike through these mountains and experience the convenience of the city at the same time. Hanging out on the deck after a long day is relaxing and just feels like home. I love all of the wood and natural materials that make up the house and the giant pine tree in the front yard has such a powerful presence. This house is special because of its open floor plan and ease of living. Mid century was the first time in architectural history that design started focusing on the needs of the family and we think that idea is beautifully brought to life with this home.
