About the host
Hosted by Rose Dykes
I grew up Boulder Colorado and love showing travelers what makes this place special. When I'm not hosting, I'm riding my horse or exploring other locations.
Why they chose this property
Martin acres is the neighborhood I grew up in. We are 4 generations here and couldn't love it more. I love this neighborhood because of the friendly people, quiet atmosphere and proximity to mountain trails.
What makes this property unique
The views of the flatirons are the best in Boulder! We feel blessed to be able to hike through these mountains and experience the convenience of the city at the same time. Hanging out on the deck after a long day is relaxing and just feels like home. I love all of the wood and natural materials that make up the house and the giant pine tree in the front yard has such a powerful presence. This house is special because of its open floor plan and ease of living. Mid century was the first time in architectural history that design started focusing on the needs of the family and we think that idea is beautifully brought to life with this home.
