Amazing house for our ski getaway
Stayed here for a few nights with friends and our collective 4 young kids. This house had everything we could have wanted. Great location...super close to skiing! Beds were comfy, house was spotless, living room with fireplace was cozy. We would absolutely stay here again!

New Years Family retreat
We stayed at Bryant Pond over Christmas break and into the New Year. The property was beautiful and fit our group of 14 perfectly. The house feels clean and is close enough to Sunday River to be able to easily enjoy the mountain daily. We had a few Nordic skiers in our group as well. Unfortunately there was not enough snow, but we were able to check out Carters cross country ski area. It is close by as well and we spent time walking the trails, it’s a beautiful spot. As for the property, you will not be disappointed. I have to highlight the bed situation. I have never been to a VRBO property that provides such quality bedding. The quality of the bedding is often overlooked, but this property has the most comfortable pillows on each bed, super soft cozy sheets, and a mattress bad that makes you feel as though your on a cloud. Not to mention the warm/comfy comforter. The upstairs bedroom that sleeps 5-6 does get warm. You need to keep the heat’s way low in the house to avoid uncomfortable heat up there. It took us one night to figure out, then we were all sleeping well. The hot tub is wonderful. Great ambiance with strong lights around. The host asked that you sanitize the hot tub after every use. This sounds tedious, but they provide small Tupperware containers filled with what you need. This makes it super easy to comply with this request. And it also helps you feel the hot tub is clean👍. I ran out of room…it’s a great choice!

Amazing House in an Amazing Area!
Aqeel and Michelle's house is gorgeous. We went with a pretty large group and there was room for all. Everything was there that you need to enjoy your trip. The hot tub was so relaxing; the kitchen offered everything you needed to cook some delicious family meals. It was so clean and airy as well. Take advantage of the pond around the corner and whale rock - so fun. I would highly recommend this beautiful house in this beautiful area.

We first fell in love with the Sunday River area of Maine in 2011 during a family ski trip. When we had a chance to come back the following year in late summer for some hiking and were amazed at how much Maine had to offer. This year we decided that Western Maine would be a wonderful place to bring our young son so that he would have a chance to experience the amazing array of outdoor activities that the area we had to offer. We hope you will enjoy our cabin as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

This Chalet offered the best of both worlds. Being less than 20 minutes away from Sunday River ensured that world class skiing was always close by. And by being so close to the water we would have a chance to kayak and fish as much as we wanted. We feel extremely lucky to have found this home.

What makes this property unique

Being so close to North Pond, our guests can walk out of the home and be on the water in mere minutes. There are also amazing hiking trails waiting to be explored. During winter months, a short car ride and you are at the base of the best ski resort on the east coast, Sunday River. After a day filled with fun, the fire pit and hot tub outside welcome you to sit, relax, and plan the next days adventures.
