About this property
Desert living with gourmet kitchen, pool, spa, and separate casita!
Welcome to your desert oasis, where luxury meets the rugged beauty of the Sonoran landscape. This custom vacation home is the epitome of desert elegance, designed to provide the ultimate retreat for you and your fellow travelers.
Located at 3000 ft elevation in the foothills north of Phoenix, the air is cooler and cleaner than in the city. Cave Creek and Carefree are adjacent towns minutes away, sharing a unique natural environment but contrasting personalities. The location is also ideal for day trips south to Old Town Scottsdale and Phoenix or north to Sedona, Prescott, Jerome, and Flagstaff, and for golfers there are 15 courses within 15 miles.
As you enter the main house, you're greeted by spacious interiors adorned with contemporary furnishings and tasteful southwestern accents. The open-concept living area invites relaxation with plush seating and panoramic views of the surrounding desert scenery. The master bedroom features a California king bed, shower, spa tub, and walk-in closet. The two additional bedrooms have queen beds and connected private bathrooms with his/her sinks and showers.
Whip up culinary delights in the gourmet kitchen, equipped with a large copper-clad island, 6-burner gas range, double convection ovens, state-of-the-art appliances, granite countertops, and ample space for cooking and entertaining.
Step outside onto the expansive patio, where your private paradise awaits. The house backs up to the beautiful Tonto National Forest which is home to the unique wildlife of the Sonoran Desert. It is not unusual to see deer, javalena, coyotes, roadrunners, and bobcats near or on the property. Take a refreshing dip in the sparkling pool or soothe your muscles in the bubbling spa, all while soaking up the warm Arizona sun. Fire up the outdoor barbecue and dine alfresco under the stars.
Cross the custom bridge spanning the desert wash, where you'll find a charming casita, offering additional accommodations for your guests. With its own private courtyard/covered patio and outdoor fireplace, it's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the desert.
"Scottsdale: Where the Desert Meets Luxury" is a phrase often used to characterize the city. It captures the essence of Scottsdale as a place that seamlessly blends the natural beauty of the desert landscape with upscale amenities and a vibrant cultural scene. Immerse yourself in the local art scene, wander through the galleries of Old Town or experience the iconic architecture of Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home. Indulge in world-class dining at award-winning restaurants or rejuvenate your senses at one of the many renowned spas. With its sun-kissed days and star-filled nights, Scottsdale promises an unforgettable escape.
Venture west to Carefree, a hidden gem nestled in the foothills of the Continental Mountains. Downtown Carefree has quaint shops and boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and a small amphitheater that hosts the farmer’s market, art shows, and cultural events. In the center of town, you’ll see the largest Sundial in the country. Carefree is characterized by its charming small town feel and quaint street names like Ho Hum Road, Tranquil Trail and Easy Street. Carefree also features some of the best local dining. Carefree invites you to rediscover the simple pleasures of life.
Just a short drive away lies Cave Creek, a rugged frontier town that prides itself on maintaining the flavor of the Old West. Experience the thrill of a horseback ride through the natural Sonoran Desert terrain or embark on an off-road adventure along rugged mountain trails. Discover the rich cultural heritage of the area at historic sites like Frontier Town or immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of local saloons and honky-tonks. The restaurants lining Cave Creek’s main road feature a wide range of fare from fine dining to cowboy cookouts. You will also find fun western stores, art galleries and specialty shops like those in the new Stagecoach Village shopping and dining district. Whether you're seeking outdoor excitement or authentic western charm, Cave Creek offers a taste of the untamed spirit of the desert.
From the cosmopolitan allure of Scottsdale to the laid-back charm of Carefree and the rugged frontier spirit of Cave Creek, this trio of Arizona destinations promises an unforgettable visit filled with adventure, discovery, and endless possibilities.
