Wake up to the sounds of the waves crashing at Our Perfect View, a quaint, 4-bedroom oceanfront cottage in the heart of Kitty Hawk at milepost 3.5.

The winding dunes and blue waters just outside create a picturesque scene you won’t soon forget! Steps from the sand, enjoy a long day on the beach before relaxing on the large oceanfront sun deck or taking a dip in the hot tub. The children will enjoy books, games, a flat screen TV and WiFi when not on the beach. Our Perfect View is in close proximity to many local restaurants, including Art's Place and Ocean Boulevard, as well as several other great shopping and dining destinations.

Our Perfect View does not include bed linens and towels, however, an optional package can be purchased for an additional charge.

Please note that while the property is oceanfront, due to shifting sands the dune height may vary. Early check-in not available.

Top Level: Living area, kitchen and dining area, 2 queen bedrooms with TVs, 2 pyramid bunk bedrooms, hall bath, large sun deck with picnic table and hot tub overlooking the ocean.

Smaller home with 4 bedrooms felt bigger with outside views

The location is what sold us and what we enjoyed the most. We chose Beachfront over a larger size to spend our money on and we were happy with our choice.

We had an enjoyable week regardless of the weather and the house was cute and adequate. We typically choose VRBO properties because we prefer dealing directly with the owners. This was the first time we rented a property that was managed by a third party company and we will attempt to avoid that in the future. The extra cost for direct beachfront did not seem worth it with this house. Yes, it’s beachfront, but there’s no walkway or stairs over the dune to make accessing the beach easier. We had a minor maintenance issue that wasn’t fully addressed while we were there that limited us being able to utilize or enjoy the back deck and hot tub. The house is adorable and adequate size except for only having one bathroom for 4 bedrooms. A few updates such as newer mattresses and more comfortable living room furniture could really make it something special.
