Stunning sunsets from the gigantic deck of our James Island home. 2 miles from Folly Beach, this 2 bedroom, 2 full bath house has everything you will need for a comfortable, serene vacation. Plenty of off street parking and 15 min from downtown with some of the best restaurants and bars in the nation. The open floor plan allows for you to have 180 degrees of marsh views. Kitchen fully equipped with laundry on top floor. Bring your water toys and enjoy fishing, kayaking, sun bathing, or stand up paddle boarding off the private dock.
Grocery store and gas station conveniently located across the street. Head 2 miles to Folly for some relaxed beach time or food and drink. This home's downstairs has a screened porch and hammock.

Great little spot near Folly Beach

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was in a great location, just a few mins drive from Folly Beach, in a quiet neighborhood. The deck and view were great, the place was clean, and comfortable.

Quiet neighborhood, lovely home

The home is lovely, quiet and comfortable. The traffic into Folley Beach on Saturday was a nightmare, but that was expected for the tiny beach town. Aside from that the home was beautiful, and convenient to Charleston and other areas outside of Folley Beach. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this property for anyone looking for a place a short distance from the main hub of Folley Beach.

Beautifully decorated house

Our stay was lovely. The house was exactly as it was advertised. It was meticulously clean, well stocked with all of the essentials, comfortable furniture, and spacious. I especially loved the decor! If I had any criticism at all it would be the downstairs bed. The bed itself was comfortable however the headboard was not attached to the bed so every time I moved, it slammed against the wall. I'm sure that is an easy fix though. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Only complaint was the automated air conditioning system. It would be set to the high 80s

We would come into the house after a hot day and walk into a sauna feeling nauseated. The system was very difficult to over ride. Other than that the location was great and was fully stocked with all the essentials.

Thank you for letting me know. The nest is a learning system so when no one walks by it for a period of time it turns to default temps. I just checked and the cool setting was at a high default, so I lowered it. Thanks for the update.

Nice place, but always hot when we walked in

When we arrived, the temperature was a little warm inside, so I immediately programmed the WiFi thermostat for the days we would be occupying the property. As long as we were inside, or on the property, the temperature remained as I had programmed it. Anytime we left, the thermostat was turned up (not by us), making it a little uncomfortable when we returned. The A/C was always turned back to our programmed temperature when we returned, but it took 2+ hours to return to a comfortable range.

A Fun Folly Beach Weekend

We enjoyed our trip to the Folly Beach area. The house was very clean, well furnished and well stocked. There were nice decks and a screened-in patio leading out to the marsh and canals. The house was close to the beach and close to Charleston, a great location. Our family hopes we can return to this comfortable and convenient house.

The house was really nice. The views were great and the neighborhood was quite. The house was close to Folly Beach. It’s not far from Downtown Charleston. The drive wasn’t too long to get to Charleston downtown. We will definitely stay again.

Great change to get away and socially distance.

We used the property as our base for our fall break get away on. We used the kitchen a lot and it was full stocked with the pots and pans we needed. The dock was great and we enjoyed the deck as well. We were disappointed that there was not a grill like we saw in the pictures. We bought seafood several times, and a grill would have been great, too bad.

We loved the place, amenities, gathering spaces, floorpan & decor. It was a lovely experience. I wish we had brought bikes so we could have passed all the traffic to get on Folly. This place is so close to the beach. Highly recommend!

Love this property! Excellent location for The beach and Charleston. Loved kayaking and crabbing from the dock and enjoyed sitting on the back deck for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening.
