Please disregard this review. We have a completely updated place including the kitchen, bath, floors, fresh paint. In addition we just purchased a new refrigerator today and a new sectional couch 3 weeks ago. We also have a new flat screen TVs, new outdoor furniture and new grill. We use our place for our family personal use and keep it as perfect as possible. This reviewer was unable to mention anything that needs tlc as it does not. Please look at all the prior reviews as a 3 star is offensive to us based on how much we spend to update it every year. This reviewer was not a pleasant person from the time she booked and was rude. We always try to be kind and empathetic. It seems her review is a cover up to the fact that she got glue all over our new couch and she also claimed we don’t have spoons which we do. Being in real estate in Lbi and knowing the market myself I know our place is a great value and located 25 ft to the beach.

We are assuming your review was an error as we have never received a 3 star review in 18 years and you have stayed with us 4 straight years and we have made even more updates prior to 2025 including a new sectional couch which you complimented us on as well as the other updates you stated were great. We only heard compliments from you this year and all the other years you stayed with us so if you did mean to give us a 3 star you would have mentioned it to us as we always try to be easy to reach and you have reached out to us several times over the years with bo issues.

Just a few steps from the beach, which made our stay super convenient. Also a close drive to Fantasy Island amusement park and restaurants too. The house was just as listed and it had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Ken and Meigan for hosting us!

My friend had a wonderful vacay in LBI and this property contributed to it. Just as the description said, "steps from the ocean," our shore experience was easy and enjoyable. We're two seniors, so it's important to be close to the bathroom when one is on the beach. Everything was perfect! Cozy and comfortable. We'll be back!

Great value and location

First floor, 2 bedroom, 1 Bath, and one house from the beach. Under 2 miles to Bay Village. Very clean, updated Unit with 2 off-street spaces. LVT plank flooring, newer kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, updated bathroom. One of the best rental values on the Island IMHO.

Location is 10/10. Fantastic part of the island - close to everything, but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle and the noise of the restaurants. The apartment amenities were lacking however - very dull knives, fridge temperature could not be adjusted so unfortunately some of our food needed to get thrown out before we could eat it because it froze, no hand soap in the bathroom, and having to vacuum and clean the rental before you check out is unacceptable given there is a hefty cleaning fee.

Our amenities - kitchen, bath, bedrooms flooring, indoor and outdoor furniture are all new and updated but you state lacking because you felt the knives aren’t sharp ??? We receive almost all 5 star reviews because of the effort and expense we put in every year to update and maintain our place. The cleaning fee of $125 is discounted from the $150 cleaning fee we pay our cleaning service and you didn’t mention the place was clean which it always is. Very surprised by this review as when we spoke with you you stated you loved the place and everything is perfect. FYI the sectional couch is brand new and you were the 1st to use it . You most likely haven’t stayed in a place with our location, and condition or you would be aware that the comps don’t offer what we do. Also, our lease is very straightforward and explains in detail what is provided including 4 free beach badges.

AFTER VACATIONING IN LBI FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS WE ALWAYS HAD A DREAM OF OWNING OUR OWN PLACE ON THE ISLAND. AFTER SAVING FOR MANY YEARS WE FINALLY MADE OUR DREAM COME TRUE IN EARLY 2009 WITH THE PURCHASE OF OUR PLACE WHICH MY WIFE NAMED 'MEANT TO BE'. THE REASON WE MADE THE PURCHASE WAS TO HAVE A PLACE FOR OUR FAMILY TO SPEND QUALITY TIME TOGETHER. THE REASON WE PURCHASED 'MEANT TO BE' WAS SIMPLY THAT IT IS 25 FEET TO THE OCEAN IN THE SOUGHT AFTER LEHYC SECTION AND WE JUST LOVE THE BEACH AND ALL THAT LBI HAS TO OFFER US. WE FEEL VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE A PLACE JUST 25 FEET AWAY FROM A LIFEGUARD BEACH ON A DEAD END STREET.
