A major construction project adjacent to Beach Walk HOA (not affiliated with the resort) is ongoing and expected to cause noise and construction traffic impacts through spring 2026.

The Marsh Point I elevator is out of service until January 31, 2026. This is the only elevator serving Marsh Point I. Dates are subject to change.

The Unit
Discover these charming Two-Bedroom Villas designed for maximum relaxation and comfort. This is the ultimate Edisto Island getaway retreat offering a spacious private bedroom, oversized bathroom with soothing whirlpool tub and private balcony. Two-Bedroom Villas help you save a little extra by offering a fully equipped kitchen that lets you eat in instead of spending extra on dining out. The main bedroom will come with a king bed, the guest bedroom will come with a queen or two twin beds and there will be a queen sleeper sofa in the living room (Please note that depending on the unit you are assigned, the bedding may differ but the unit will be able to accommodate up to 6 people)

Better than expected

I really wasn’t sure what to expect due to a few negative reviews by previous occupants, but our experience was 100% positive. The property was newly renovated; the staff was wonderful. It was a great stay!

The only problem was that I did not know which unit I rented until checkin. Pictures were from multiple listings. The property was beautiful in the end.

Most miserable rental ever. Everyone one involved was nice but no one with the company told the truth or made any attempt to correct the problem or refund money. I paid to much for a 2 bedroom 1245 sq ft villa. I had a important client and his wife down to go boating. I called in advanced an discussed in detail and was told the 1200 sq ft villa had 1 king and 1 Queen size beds with a loft. I got there late at night , one room had 2 twin beds and no loft and it was 800 sq ft. . My client is a large man and insisted my wife and I take the king bed. They were miserable and the bed glued to the wall broke. We did not have to worry with the sleeping arrangements the next night my wife went home to a nice bed and I gave the large room to my customer. I called to discuss a refund and got no response. Great Getaway location

Very spacious and well appointed condominium. Access to all Wyndham amenities was a huge plus as we were traveling with young child. Very clean and comfortable beds and linens. Absolutely everything you need in a a wonderful location on the island - definitely recommend!

Timeshare Unit vs personal home/condo

The pictures were generic (mostly) so I expected a Bait & Switch. And, the address given [when I finally called to ask the Check-In procedure (normally it’s sent via email after your confirmation)] wasn’t the property we stayed in. We were sent to a Drive Up& Check In area related to the Wyndham TimeShare Mngemnt folks. Yes they will try to lure you to a Sales presentation but it’s only if you’re interested vs required. During check-in, You’re given lots of good information, directions to your Unit and other notable places on the island & Bracelets for all of your guests that open not only your Condo doors but all of the amenities you have access to & there’s a lot! I really liked this system. The surprise was the condo we were assigned had a different address & sleeping set up than the one we thought when we booked it. The assigned condo was very clean & all the condo furnishings were very Hotel-like but with Efficiency extras. The bed arrangement was better othan the Vrbo ad (it said we’d get a queen bed & two twins but instead there was a King bedroom (w a really nice bathroom) & another with 2 queen beds & a shared bathroom. There’s covered parking but No Elevator & units in our bldg. were located only on the 2nd & 3rd floor. I was told many of the bldgs do have elevators & differing floor plans. The pool outside our building was clean, beautiful & had a hot tub. Other pools in different locations were available to us but we preferred staying nearby our condo. You’ll likely need to drive to the beach but all of the public beach walks have free parking & many also have restroom facilities. Many restaurants & bars there & several are within walking distance. Overall - the Wyndham property is well kept & we were very comfortable. Just be aware that the unit represented in the Ad will likely not be your assigned space. Also - get your main groceries before you get to the island. There are some small stores for drinks, ice, & basics. All in all we had a terrific stay with some confusion at the start but the property is well managed & we would definitely stay there again!
