The house was exactly as advertised ,Vitaly & Maria were great hosts! and were very responsive when I reached out with questions. The house had everything we needed and was perfect for exploring the area. The house was super clean, and the check in and out was so easy. We hope to return again in the future.
Host was very responsive, property as advertised. The hot tub was great, and we liked exploring the property. The area is pretty deserted at this time of year; at all meals we ate out we were the only ones in the restaurants and we barely saw anyone else hiking or fishing but for a quiet getaway it was perfect.
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was great and the setting incredible. I don’t think it gets any more private. The private drive is dirt and somewhat steep but no issues at all for an SUV (this was fall, not winter). We arrived in the dark and had no issues whatsoever. Cell signal is poor to nonexistent once you’re off the main roads so make sure your maps are set. Once you’re at the house the high speed internet is excellent. One of the cooler surprises was the outdoor ping pong table. I don’t believe it was mentioned in the listing but it was used everyday. The hot tub was as advertised and the cover rack makes getting it opened and closed very convenient. The house layout is nice and it’s well stocked. We have only good things to say about the property and Vitaly. We are low touch but we had a couple questions and the response was quick. One tip on grocery shopping. Skip the grocery store in Margaretville. We’ve never paid more than we did there. The check out lady seemed annoyed she had to ring up our large order. The people working the floor were rude. The options limited. There are other options as you’re out and about. Everything from other local shops to Tops in Tannersville and Dollar General seemingly everywhere. Kingston is an hour away and has lots of options.
We did a little skiing with a family of 5, and we were more than comfortable inside. And the outdoor living space is probably even a better feature for this property during the warmer seasons, but the hot tub in the winter was more than enough for my needs after skiing. The host was awesome, great communication, and the location is nice and close to Belleayre. The house is a little off the main road, so 4 wheel is a priority for the snowy season, something to consider. If you prefer some privacy, this place is perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much! It was a pleasure to be your host!
The trip was great! Everything we needed was there including a blow dryer! Coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher which was a huge plus! Oh and a washer and dryer. The place was a little difficult to get to because the road was not plowed and it was very icy, the temperatures were in the 20’s. Hot tub was clean and super close to the house so we lives that. Would definitely recommend!
Idyllic week away and unplugged. Maria and Vitaly’s place is secluded and tranquil. Home is balanced and comfortable. The natural surroundings are blissful. Keep in mind you are surrounded by nature. During my stay viewed a black bear (twice), deers, a family of woodchucks, raccoons a ton of different birds including hummingbirds a whole lotta insects and butterflies.
Maria was very responsive!
Would definitely love to visit again!

Thank you so much. You are a wonderful guest to have for any host. It was a pleasure having you at the house. Come back soon :)
We had a great stay here. It was a bit of a tight fit for 8 people (as the hosts let us know beforehand) but it was still a really nice stay. We had a lot of friends interested once they saw where we were going! 😁 The house had everything we needed- comfortable beds, stocked kitchen and gorgeous fire pit, deck and hot tub! The hosts answered all of our many questions quickly. A highlight was going to nearby Belleayre beach- recommended by our hosts! It’s a stunning little lake surrounded by a mountain with a nice bathrooms, shade under trees and a snack bar! We got food at the nearby, trendy Phoenicia Diner twice and cooked as well. It is definitely a bit remote, but that’s what we wanted so we could stargaze!! We turned off all the lights and had a beautiful view of the sky. Thanks again Maria and Vitaly!!

You are very welcome!
It was a pleasure to have you guys as guests!
The house was perfect - a beautiful quiet setting in the woods. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and stargazing. The hot tub and soaking tub were amazing! My very favorite part was just sitting outside and listening to the nearby stream while reading. We also spent one morning riding the rails at the Catskills Rail Explorers, which we highly recommend. Our hosts answered every question we had and offered advice on nearby activities and restaurants. Just a beautiful way to spend a week in nature!
