Cottage with private saltwater pool in Vilar de Mouros, Caminha

Situated in the hills of one of the most beautiful villages of northern Portugal - Vilar de Mouros , this delightful well equipped villa has a lovely atmosphere and displays a pleasing range of carefully chosen furnishings. It is set within a charming private walled garden where a stylish swimming pool was recently added. A comfortable sitting room opens onto a shaded terrace overlooking the pool, with table and chairs perfect for outside eating.
Whilst the property enjoys a rural setting, amenities are nevertheless close to hand. The local shop in the village is about 1,000 metres from the house.
The coastal fishing village of Vila Praia de Ancora is about a 15 minute drive. Here you will find a good selection of shops, restaurants and a long sandy beach. Delightful 15th and 16th century buildings can be found in the ancient fortress town of Caminha, situated opposite Spain at the mouth of the enchanting River Minho.
Viana do Castelo, a lively fishing and ship-building port, famous for its winding streets and ancient monuments, is about 25 minute drive away.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing peaceful and nice stay. Property is even better than shown in pictures. All very clean. Neighborhood is ideal for resting and close to Caminha. Smooth Check-in process.

Férias maravilhosas em família

A casa é perfeita para uns dias em família: muito bem decorada, o espaço é extremamente acolhedor. Tem todos os acessórios necessários (não nos faltou nada). O exterior é muito agradável e a piscina fez as delícias não só das crianças, mas também dos adultos. A zona envolvente é muito bonita, estando próxima de Caminha e Vila Nova de Cerveira. Há que realçar a simpatia dos proprietários que tudo fizeram para nos proporcionar umas férias inesquecíveis. Haveremos de voltar!

MARAVILLOSA CASA EN EL NORTE DE PORTUGAL

La casa es aún mejor que en las fotos. Todas las habitaciones tienen aseos privados mas uno común en la planta baja. La cocina es muy grande y con todo tipo de utensilios para cocinar. La decoración es exquisita y el jardín invita a pasar unas jornadas muy agradables tomando el sol y disfrutando de la piscina. También dar las gracias a Emilia, persona que se encarga de la limieza y de la recepción de una forma muy eficiente. Creo que no se puede pedir mas en esta casa, todo ha sido estupendo. Sagrario. Ainda melhor do que no anúncio

Casa impecavelmente equipada, tanto no interior como no exterior, não sentimos a falta de absolutamente nada. Jardim e piscina muito agradáveis e bem conservados, localização óptima para quem pretender ir à praia ou passear por Caminha, Cerveira, Valença,... Comunicação com o proprietário sempre fácil e eficaz. Recomendamos, sem dúvida.

A casa é ainda mais agradável do que parece nas fotos, impecavelmente conservada e preparada para receber hóspedes. Não sentimos a falta de absolutamente nada na cozinha, nos quartos, no jardim/piscina, na casa em geral. O contacto com o proprietário foi muito fácil, as respostas sempre rápidas. Perfeita para férias em família, recomendamos absolutamente.

Estupenda casa

La casa es preciosa y a pocos minutos de Caminha y de la entrada a la autovía por la cual viajar para visitar otros puntos de Portugal norte. La casa estaba muy limpia y bien cuidada y la piscina es estupenda. Los niños disfrutaron mucho de la piscina y recomendaría la estancia a cualquier persona.
