Great House for Family with Young Kids

I rented the house for a winter sun break and my son’s family came from Portland OR, and my daughter’s family came from Bloomington, IN. The break from the cold weather was perfect. We used the pool with my 10 month and 4 year old granddaughters. We were able to cook some nice family meals.The hot tub worked great and the adults enjoyed a good massaging soak.The location wasn’t too far from the airport and we also went to the desert botanical gardens and hiking.The host was good at communicating the arrival and departure details.

Great time with Family & Friends in Chandler, AZ

This location has a lot to offer, we enjoyed our stay - the pool area has a lot of great qualities. Our hosts were great at responding to any of our needs. I rented this location for the outdoor space with the heated pool as we were from Wisconsin and looking for the sun and warmth during our winter months. I would have liked to see that the pool area was organized and clean of leaves & needles when we arrived, as from that point it would have been our responsibility to keep it clean. However, the pool area had over a 55 gallon garbage can of leaves & needles that we cleaned up in order to use this space as we wanted. Additionally there are many items that are in need of repair or tossing in the pool area - the pool deck needs repair as the cement is chipping. If renting this location the pool should have a railing for entry. The game room was not very clean and had a lot of clutter items in it. It would also have been to have an instruction book on what items you wanted renters to do and how to operate all the electronics that are through-out the house. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Unpleasant Experience...

First off it was the hottest day of the year in phx metro area. Their A/C worked as you put your hand to the vent but the house stayed at 89 degrees while the A/C was set to 75. House didn't cool down to set temp. Till 11:30pm at night. (Miserable). We had 4 family members come meet us at the house so we could have dinner in town and she saw through the ring camera on door and charged us 50.00 a person for them entering the house. So we had to pay an extra 200.00 cash for this experience. I rented it for friday and sat. And i was so upset that i checked out sat. Morning. And lost that extra day with no refund. As for my family and i, we were happy to leave.

I'm disappointed to leave this review, but I feel it's necessary for future hosts. This guest reserved my place for four people but attempted to host a party by inviting ten more unregistered guests. My house rules explicitly state that no unregistered guests are allowed, and this behavior is completely unacceptable. That being said, the guest did leave the property in a very clean condition, which I appreciate. Additionally, they were honest and communicated well throughout their stay. While their intention to throw a party without permission was a serious violation of my rules, I would be happy to rent to this guest again provided they familiarize themselves with and adhere to the house rules prior to making a reservation.
