Located just over an hour from NYC, our 1930s stone cabin in Highland Lakes, NJ, seamlessly blends vintage charm with modern comforts (including two electric car chargers). Perched on the water with the best view of the main lake, this cozy cabin is a local & visitor favorite. Experience breathtaking sunrises, tranquil kayak journeys, and cozy evening sunsets by the fire. Lakeside Cabin is your gateway to a magical, lakeside living experience, perfect for unwinding and creating lasting memories.
The space
Enjoy lakefront living with direct access to Main Lake. Perfect for families and couples alike.
10 Minutes away from Mountain Creek Ski and Bike resort, Crystal and Minerals Springs.
This property boasts a driveway that accommodates multiple cars, complete with two Tesla charger hookups adaptable for any electric vehicle cord a guest may bring.
We have 5 lakes and 7 beaches for you to explore. There is also a clubhouse with ping-pong, billiards, bocce court, children's play area and swings. For those seeking the beach access, day passes are available for an additional nominal fee.

Septic System: Only toilet paper should be flushed to maintain the system’s integrity.
Indoor Shoe Policy: Please remove shoes indoors to keep our home clean for future guests.
Quiet Hours (10 PM - 7 AM): Lower noise levels to preserve the peaceful lake atmosphere; fines for noise disturbances will be passed on.
No Indoor Smoking: Smoking is permitted outside; an ashtray is provided on the back porch.
Visitor Policy: Friends are welcome to visit during the day, with a limit of 2 additional guests. If the number of overnight guests exceeds what is specified in your reservation, we will have to ask you to leave without a refund.
Fire Safety: Always supervise the use of the fireplace and firepit, ensuring fires are completely extinguished afterward.
Countertop & Furniture Care: Utilize cutting boards and trivets on countertops, and treat all furnishings with respect.
