About this property

Our Cedar and Rock home is the perfect getaway. We sit on 40 acre, deep in the Ozark Mountain. Close to the Buffalo National River. Far enough off Hwy. 7 and Easy access for Motorcycles. We are in the heart of hiking and rock climbing areas. We have a full country kitchen, 2 bed rooms and everything you need. Cedar deck for sitting and watching deer and elk. The Perfect vacation getaway, Spiritual retreat, weekend away! Come relax your body and soul.

Cute Spot

This house is in a great, remote location-exactly what my husband and I wanted for our trip. Communication with Gail was great. The 2 dogs are so sweet! We came for the hiking. The best one we hiked was Samuel Throne. Jasper Pizza and Ozark Cafe are excellent places to eat. Really wanted to float the Buffalo, but sadly they are in a drought so it was too low. We'll definitely be back!

Feels like home

From the first time walking in, I felt like I had come home. Peaceful,,& just plain wonderful. Gail is a wonderful host. Everything was neat and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect spot right in the middle of the best roads in America.

We had a fantastic stay and the property was fantastic. We had a misunderstanding about the length of stay that was completely my fault. The property owner was very understanding and worked with us to get our stuff out before the next scheduled guests checked in. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and i would recommend this place 100%

Rustic retreat

Occasional highway noise was the only clue there was civilization at the end of the driveway. A large historic rustic cabin with most modern conveniences. Perfect getaway.

Jasper getaway

Great experience renting this property. Very clean and well equipt. The little extras that were provided made renting so much nicer. The owner was always available for questions. Overall fantastic!

Comfy house with a great view

We really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Rock Lodge (CRL). The house was very cute and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and grills came in handy. Our only complaints were that there wasn't a dishwasher, the bathroom was a tad small, and we had to purchase additional toilet paper. Otherwise we had everything we needed and had a very comfortable stay.

Great property for relaxing

This place is tucked away off the main road and very quiet. Great for just unplugging, relaxing and exploring the area. I was there to float the Buffalo River with a group so it was a little further from the put ins than I preferred but still very doable. Gail was a great host and communication and ease of check in was perfect!

Farm like atmospherr

Ceilings in bedrooms and doorways were very sort (hit Mt over and over but otherwise a great view good location and amenities. Would recommend for a quiet getaway for 2-4 .

secluded on private gravel road

Old farm house that has had some renovation to bring it up to date. 2 window units work well, hot water in shower and it had plenty of cooking utensils and dishes and pans. Very secluded on a private road. 3 other occupied houses far enough away to not notice even if they were out. Has picnic table and plenty of porch seating, a lot of yard for activities. It does have an adjacent art studio that is locked- I assume the owner uses it when the rental is not occupied. She has a lot of stained glass and handmade things in the house, very nice to look at.

Cedar Rock Lodge

We totally enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was the perfect place to have a “base camp” while we hiked local trails. Very relaxing.
