The property was everything it said it would be, and more. Very clean. Beautifully appointed. It had everything we needed. The view from the screened-in back porch was breathtaking, especially at sunset. Everything was very close in distance - restaurants, Main Street, etc. Highly recommend.

Lakeside gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, thoughtfully provisioned home. The lake view was stunning and water access was easy. Our dogs loved the large, fenced-in backyard. Nicole was a super kind and responsive host as well. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Lake Placid!

Breathtakingly Beautiful

I’m so in love with this property! The owners really made sure we felt welcome. They really put a lot of thought into their home! It’s so beautiful. They had all the amenities and then some for our stay! The lake sunsets are amazing! Very quiet street…very peaceful! Everything was so lovely! I will def be back! Baby's first Lake trip!

My family has been coming to Lake Placid for years and years and has always been a special place for me, so I was so excited to finally bring my 7 month old baby along for his very first lake trip! The house was the perfect setup for a small child and family. My parents were able to have the master bedroom located on the other side of the home while we were able to keep my son in the bunk bed room which has plenty of room for his baby gear and pack'n'play. It gave us our privacy, while allowing my parents to sleep through any late night crying. The views were so beautiful at both sunrise and sunset and is so peaceful and quiet. The backyard was perfect for our dog that came along and the fence gave us peace of mind. The location was super convenient and easy to get to with great access to Winn Dixie. We will definitely be staying again! Next time our little guy will hopefully be able to fully enjoy the yard and rope swing! Thanks so much for the core memory!

LOVED our stay at LakeSide Story!

We had the BEST time at this amazing property! Definitely one of our favorite vacation rentals ever! The communication with the owners was superb. We always received immediate replies and they were so very kind and helpful. Check-in was a breeze, and the place was located on a super quiet and tranquil street. The property and the view were simply stunning! My pups were in heaven, running around free in the fully fenced-in and HUGE backyard! I knew from the pictures that it was going to be very nice, but even those don’t do justice to its size! It definitely exceeded our expectations. The grass is lush and green, and the view of the lake is like something out of a magazine! The property is located on a very quiet little cove of the lake, and it was literally a little slice of heaven to be able to look out on it all day. Pretty much the entire house has a picture-window view out to the property and lake. We enjoyed relaxing, fishing from the dock, and playing the fun games on the fully screened lanai. We also rented a pontoon boat and we were so happy we decided to do that! They delivered the boat right to the dock, and we took fishing trips and sunset cruises. The home is also perfectly adorable! Tastefully decorated and so cozy and comfortable. The bathroom decor was both welcoming and hilarious. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. There are extra blankets and towels for all of your needs. Puzzles and games galore! We will definitely be back!!
