King 2 Bedroom Apartment

The apartment is located in our 19th century villa, on the ground floor. It has 2 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms with matrimonial (double) bed, one of which is ensuite. There are two spacious living rooms, both with sofa beds (one single and one double), private entrance with large dining area, direct access to the terrace and a private kitchen and kitchenette.

You can also use common areas, shared with other guests, including a large traditional Tuscan kitchen with terrace and library living room.

In the garden we have a swimming pool, open throughout the summer season, barbecue, hammocks and ping pong table.

We can arrange wine and food degustation tours and cooking classes. Subject to availability we also offer transfers to old Tuscan towns and some other activities.

We are located in Certaldo, in the belly button of Tuscany, a beautiful region of vineyards, olive groves and medieval towns. This is the place where you will find a true taste of Tuscany and the 'bella vita' in an authentic XIVth century setting.

Bassetto Guesthouse was formerly a convent of Benedictine monks that was always open to pilgrims passing through. In 1998, our family opened Bassetto Guesthouse again to travellers with the same notion of hospitality as the monks centuries ago. We wanted our guesthouse to be unique in terms of setting and location, a place you would want to return to and somewhere to relax from city life.
