After our highly appreciated and beloved villa Casa le Pigne, (ref 607748, 100+ 5 stars reviews), we have opened since 2018 nearby a beautiful vacation opportunity : a wonderful restored 17th century Podere (Farm) with 4 comfortable 1 and 2 BR apartments and a small house : The Podere LA VALLE.
Little house LA TORRE make part of the the Podere LA VALLE. LA TORRE has 2 floors : on the ground floor, a living room with sofa bed and open fire. Separate small but fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. On the first floor, a nice room with direct access to a private terrace. Separate Bathroom. La Torre has antique furnitures, wifi and Floor heating. NEW for more convenience : usb outlets in the bedroom !

The Podere offers all you have dreamed on : a large infinity pool, an indoor Spa with jacuzzi, IR sauna, and steam bath. Guests have access to the pool (14x6m) from mid May to mid October September and to the indoor Spa (Jacuzzi, IR Sauna and Steam bath) all the year round, all inclusive.
A large Library with TV and coffee and tea is also accessible in the shared Lounge.
The 150 ha property gives opportunity for many walks in the forest and discovery of the Tuscan wilderness.
Our Podere is 40 minutes away from Florence and 30 min from Siena. The nearest village (Castellina in Chianti) is 6km far. You find there a small supermarket, groceries, wineshops, 3 banks and ATM, and 8 restaurants.

Exceptionally nice!

Our stay in this property was magical! The property is lovely, setup with a lot of care, authenticity, and an eye for beauty. Although quietly situated, it was easy to find and close to major sightseeing spots and local infrastructure. We visited in early March, a time when the weather may not be sunny and warm but having access to a wonderful spa and a fireplace was really the icing on the cake for our vacation in Tuscany.

We are retired we met 3 months ago and are still on our second date. We have bought a house together, met each other’s family and laughed more together than anyone could imagine. This place was the best thing we have done together. Not Paris did I mention Paris. The place is so special. The walk to the fire proof pond put us on top of the world. The spa is so much better than the photos. The kitchen was so well appointed. The stars. So special. WE WILL BE BACK!!

An oasis in Chianti

We had a fantastic stay at Podere La Valle. The site is a renovated farm right in the middle of Chianti, so close to many wineries and other sites. The spa and pool access are greatly appreciated in the summer heat. Jerome and Yasmina were so helpful in ensuring that our stay was amazing. Would definitely return and highly recommended this location!

This was a dream holiday in a dream location. The owner, Jerome, bought the property back in 2004 and has since taken meticulous care to modernize it, whole also ensuring that its rustical atmosphere is maintained. The buildings are part of a larger farm which produce herbs for essential oils, and it's great for hiking and exploring the greater Chianti region. The owner has paid great attention to the ambience inside the apartments, and they have all of the amenities you need for a longer stay. We particularly enjoyed using the outside pool as well as the inside wellness center. For those staying longer, there is a supermarket located in Castellina as well as a smaller supermarket in San Donato. We used the apartment as a launching pad for destinations throughout the region, including Siena, San Gimignano, and various wine tours. We would love to have the opportunity to stay at the farm again one day!

Breathtaking property

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon on Jerome’s property. When we arrived he gave us the tour and told us all about the history. This property has everything from a library, pool and kitchen. The coffee machine was a plus. He maintains the property so well. He was kind enough to offer us a ride to the train station in town the following day to help us deal with our car situation. He was incredible at communication and answered all of our questions swiftly.1000000% we would stay at this property again. Merci beaucoup Jerome ♥️

Urlaub wie im Paradies! 12 von 10!Jérôme ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber!Er hat aus einem alten Bauerhof in liebevoller und aufwendiger Arbeit ein Kleinod geformt. Die Anlage ist wunderschön, ein toller Pool-Bereich, Hängematten zum Entspannen, ein super Wellness-Bereich, den man für sich alleine nutzen darf, malerische Wanderwege und vieles mehr…. Die Lage zu den Städten der Toskana ist ideal. Siena, Florenz, San Gimignano etc erreicht man in 30-45 Minuten. Wir kommen wieder!

Absolutely amazing gem in the Tuscan countryside

My friend and I had an amazing stay at the Podere La Valle! The property was absolutely gorgeous, and we visited the amazing spa area every night of our stay. Jerome was very easy to communicate with, and provided some great restaurant recommendations. It’s also very close to Castellina in Chianti which is a wonderful little town to visit. I would love to be able to come back in the summer to take advantage of the pool and barbecue. Because of all the common areas it would be great for a larger group of friends/family as well. Overall I can’t recommend this podere highly enough!

A small slice of heaven is Chianti

What a find Podere la Valle was! Beautiful setting in the heart of Chianti - the place is a really magical spot. Jerome has clearly put a lot of hard work, love and attention to detail into everything at the property. It is genuinely hard to find any fault. Yasmin was our point of contact during the stay and was really excellent at helping us out with any small questions we had. The place was immaculate throughout - extremely well looked after by the staff and also by fellow guests over the years. It was the perfect spot to switch off (although the WiFi was excellent if required) from the real world and reconnect with nature - I think I saw more species of butterfly in one week here than in the rest of my entire life put together! I guess the only comment I would make is that we stayed during June and even then, at 30 degrees during the day it did get warm during the night. There was no Aircon in our house. Great from a sustainability perspective and actually there’s plenty of windows and shutters to control the temperature naturally. But if you do like it cold you might struggle in warmer months. I think fans are available? Regardless don’t let that put you off. There’s always the amazing infinity pool to cool off in and plenty of shaded areas with hammocks to relax in the warmer hours. In short - you won’t be disappointed!

My Name is Jerome GLORIE, i love Tuscany where i come and stay since 40 years. I'm 67y, father of 2 daughters. We grow 3 ha of aromatic plants around the farmhouse, we distillate them and produce essential oils and hydrosols. I live part time here, part time in Brussels, Belgium.

Why they chose this property

The Podere exhale a exciting historical smell : 1000 years ago pilgrims travelled the property and rest in a small "hospital" (visible ruins 300m from the house).
In the forest you will see wild boards and roes. Nice views on the Chianti landscape, one of the most beautiful in Europe.

What makes this property unique

The Podere is a jewel in this area. very comfortable accommodation, fit for everybody, from a young couple with kids, family or less fit people.
And the Chianti : the famous Chianti Classico wine, the tasteful restaurants (from a bistro to 1 star), the kindness of the people.
