Beach Break. Immerse yourself in the sands of Dauphin Island Beaches. Beach Break is a pet-friendly(2 dog maximum limit), second row beach house on the gulf side with a cathedral ceiling and great gulf views. With sand all around you, a gulf breeze and great outdoor space on the back deck, relax with friends and family. This 4 bedroom, 3 bath beach house enjoys an open concept fit for time together and it's own private parking spaces.
Beach Break is a fully furnished vacation home for your family's beach vacation.This beautiful 4 bedroom house is adjacent to ""Island Time"" and near ""West Beach"" and ""Sunspot"", so it is ideal for larger get-togethers.
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach rentals, this home is completely outfitted with everything you need for your stay- all housewares, tableware, linens and towels are provided. Just bring flip-flops and a fishing pole.

This house was very spacious, with an open living area. Clean and beds comfortable. Just walk down the steps and you’re on the beach!! This was our 2nd time to stay here and we will be back!!

Memorial Day trip

We had a wonderful stay! No complaints from us! House was VERY well stocked with everything we needed. Very spacious layout. Both the front and back decks had beautiful views. Beach was just steps from the house.

We loved it. It was near perfect. Here are our suggestions Towel racks in the bathrooms. Hand soap. It may not be possible to keep the water bugs out but i sure do wish they weren't there.

Winter getaway

This house is just as Is described, close to the beach. Great house for the family. Located at the west end of the island, so its very quiet. Dauphin Island is a great place to visit. Excellent beaches and plenty of very good seafood. We would rent this house again.

The only problem we had was with the dryer not working. It was a great place and would stay again. Husband would want bigger TV in living room.

Easy Beach Access

The house looked exactly as the pictures showed. The location was great for families that want close beach access. We loved that the back deck didn't have steps to the beach because it stayed clean and we could really enjoy the clean deck at night.

The location is fabulous about 40 feet from ocean. House is large and lots of room. Loved the bright colors. However there were few things we felt could have been better. There are no curtains or blinds on the doors that lead out onto the deck. We felt a bit strange knowing the people in home in front of us could see us. The other issue was the grill on front deck of the home. It actually was so dirty looked like it had never been cleaned and there were old dirty grill utensils left out next to it. The grill was pretty gross so we chose not to use it. Carpet was pretty stained up as well.

Vacation in Paradise

The location of Beach Break is wonderful! Just steps from the water! We viewed dolphins on several occasions. The house could have been cleaner. There was grease splattered on the kitchen wall, spots on the bathroom walls, linens in the closets were just thrown on the shelves not folded, appearing to not have been cleaned, and the BBQ grill was very greasy. There were also several roaches in the living room. Very nice house, but the cleaning company could do a better job.

Needs new mattresses

Since a third of the time on vacation is spent in bed, horrible beds make for horrible days especially when all of us were over 50 yo. All of the mattresses need to be replaced, they were very soft and did not have mattresses or pillow protectors, leaving many stains on the beds. There is a leak in the room with twin beds that I informed the agency about on the first day there. They stated they would inform the maintenance but no one checked on it during our stay. We put a cup under the leak to catch the water during our stay. If the beds had been better this would have been a perfect stay. The floorplan is open with two bedrooms on each side which allows for plenty of room when everyone was together.

Good Stay

Only saying good stay because the of cleanliness of the property/ the check in process. We were allowed to check in early and we get there and the code isn’t working so we had to call and wait for someone to help us get in; wasn’t a complete bummer just a little annoying. Also the cleanliness.. all of the shower curtains had black mold? Not sure what it was but gross, change those out. Bathrooms weren’t as clean as you’d think since you’re paying a hefty cleaning fee. Also all the bed sheets were dirty as well at the towels. Most of the bath towels had orange stains on them. Everywhere else was clean but the most important areas weren’t. Other than that, great stay, super close to the beach and plenty of seating for a big group like we had. Would book again, just make sure stuff is actually cleaned before the next family comes in.

Great house and location!

We really enjoyed our stay. We liked that the house was towards the end of the westend and the beach was never crowded. The house looks exactly the way it does in the pictures and was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need in regards to cooking and etc (in fact there is double of everything). Although, we are behind another house we were literally steps from the beach and had a great view of both the gulf and in front of the house the bay. Since it was a dog friendly beach we were comfortable having them with us on the beach and everyone was happy to see them. We really enjoyed it and hope to go back in the future!

Great beach getaway!!!

Beach Break had everything our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 teenagers) needed to have a fun and enjoyable vacation. The location is perfect! We were literally steps from the beach. The views were fantastic! We even had our very own dolphin show a couple of times. The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of utensils, linens, towels, etc. It is a very clean and very well taken care of house- we will definitely be back!! We also really enjoyed the island. It is very quaint and most everything is locally owned and operated. We ate at JT's Sunset Grill and the Italian restaurant- both were delicious! The Ship 'n Shore was great for last minute items, but was a little pricey. The ferry to Gulf Shores is a must. There is a lot to do there as it is more commercialized. All in all, it was a great vacation and we are already planning another trip to the island!!

Great Beach House!

The house was roomy and clean with a great layout and well stocked kitchen. The home itself is very warm and inviting and didn't feel like a "vacation rental" at all. It felt more like staying in a friend's home. The view from the deck is beautiful. This is a family friendly home in a nice quiet location offering easy and quick access to the beach and ocean. We stayed with our four children and the grandparents, and had a lovely little getaway. The shops nearby are quaint and have an authentic feel that we prefer to the atmosphere of Gulf Shores. Booking and payment were a breeze and we had no major issues with the house. I would recommend this property to family and friends and will likely book either this house, or another from the same management company for our next retreat. Don't miss Skinner's Seafood, The Lighthouse Bakery, and (if you want the best crab claws around) make a little trip up to The Lighthouse Restaurant in Irvington. The kids also enjoyed the Estuarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.
