Home was immaculate and had all the supplies you would need. Charming vibe. Nice neighborhood and several block walk to downtown Eugene. Stairs to second floor bedroom are steep and A frame roof is low so that room is a bit tricky to move around and would not suit a tall person, but that was clear via pictures and did not impact us. Would stay again.
It was the perfect place to stay as we moved our son out of one apartment and put stuff intostorage. We also fit in football game at Autzen and had some great meals.A very well appointed and comfortable place to be after a few long days of cleaning and packing and hauling.
Very nice place, with everything you need (lots of spices, things for cooking/eating, soaps, dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc.). House was very comfortable and clean. Good location, with small markets and decent restaurants within walking distance. Nice quiet area.
Had a lovely stay at Eve's property in Eugene. The house is gorgeous, with a lovely yard, and it's in an excellent location. We had a little trouble checking in, but Eve and her caretaker were helpful, and we really enjoyed our visit!
I’m a local to Eugene and specifically this neighborhood. My Mom came to visit from Alaska and the Jackson Star was the perfect spot for our week long Getaway. The property is clean, quiet and convenient - located in the heart of town. We were very comfortable and Eve was the perfect host and very attentive. 5 stars all around!
This is a really gorgeous home. We loved the decor, everything was super comfortable and the location was excellent. If I ever find myself in Eugene again, I will try to stay here. The Jackson Star was an excellent home base for our trip. Thank you!
Very clean and well appointed property in a great location, really close to downtown and 5th Street. The kitchen and bathroom had everything one would need. There was a choice of bath towels depending on is you like waffle pattern or lush terry. The downstairs bed was very comfortable (we didn't use the upstairs room). We stay in Eugene annually and would love to stay in this property again. Communication was excellent.
I can not express enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Eve is a wonderful host, and the house is fabulous. It has a delightful garden/outside space and an outstanding interior with everything you need to make your stay confrontable. The location is great...what a great neighborhood. I hope to visit again when we return to Eugene.
5stars. I’d give it 10. Super comfy clean and nice. Will stay again soon!

Peaceful Neighborhood; walking distance to market & restaurants
My family of 5 stayed here for a couple of nights on our 9 day trip from San Francisco to Seattle. After 4 nights in a hotel, it was wonderful to stay in a home and much cheaper too. Love the quaint neighborhood & safe to walk the streets to local restaurants and market. Eugene is beautiful too. We wish we were staying a little longer to enjoy the restaurants & bakeries!

Great house, nice and clean and comfortable. My daughter took the upstairs and that was perfect for her and my wife and I slept in the bed downstairs. Very well supplied kitchen and bath. Nice backyard that I wish I had been able to use more of. Easy location to all of Eugene. Very nice neighborhood and no issues with anything. Would highly recommend.

Why they chose this property
The moment I walked in to this house, I loved it and could see the potential to create a beautiful home for vacationers, and thus the creation of Jackson Star began! The craftsmanship is of high quality and it is obvious the house has been well-cared for over the years. I loved the floor plan on the main level and the loft is truly dreamy on a clear evening with the stars and moon visible from the bedroom window in the loft. The art studio behind the house has a gorgeous view of the trees and flowers that characterize the neighborhood. The neighborhood is full of great restaurants, markets and bakeries all within walking distance . Serene. Beautiful. Peaceful. Great neighbors!
