If visiting NW Arkansas, consider staying at our geodesic dome on Beaver Lake. It is adjacent to Hobbs State Park, and near Rocky Branch Park. Hear the breeze in the pines, while gazing upon the lake, right across the road. Beaver Dome is in a quiet, rural lakeside environment. The dome is spacious, with a large loft above a cozy living area that features ample kitchen with all needed equipment, a living room-dining area with stylish wood stove and windows that look out onto beautiful greenery. Neighboring properties are not really close, so privacy is assured. Bring your boat and trailer, there is room to park those. There are three boat ramps within five miles.
Hobbs State Park, has trails, caves and in-park lake cove also adjacent to the dome home. Visit Rocky Branch Park within 3 miles, or check out War Eagle Mill, a few miles away. There are horse-trails and mountain-bike trails very close by. Rogers or Bentonville, about 20 miles away, offer Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, plus an Aquarium. Eureka Springs is about 30 miles away.

The Dome at Beaver Lake

What a quaint place in the woods. We had an excellent stay! I bet in the fall this place is really nice.

My husband and I enjoy hosting guests and have been doing so since 2006 when we built and offered a beach-front rental in Costa Rica, still called Casa Dos Ríos.
We sold that rental and now have two accommodations on Beaver Lake including the geodesic dome and a separate apartment above a garage on the same property.
We are gardeners, do crafts and watercolor art, enjoy boating, and riding our electric bikes.
We sometimes travel in our Motorhome.

Why they chose this property

We felt gifted when we discovered this property on our favorite cove of Beaver Lake. We were in a 7-way bidding competition when we bought it, because the location is so desirable! It has beautiful view of the Van Hollow Cove below, plus it sits in whispering pines with birds soaring overhead. A quiet and tranquil place near the dead-end of a recently paved road. This is a great area for walking or bike riding.

What makes this property unique

A geodesic dome is unique in itself, with great acoustics, skylights for natural lighting, thick walls for energy efficiency and plenty of loft space for the kids to have their own living area above the main living room. Now add the quiet neighborhood where houses are on acreages, affording privacy, and the lake is across the road with excellent fishing at lakeside.
