Welcome to our top floor, ocean view studio unit at Islander on the Beach #321, This newly refreshed studio is fully equipped for 2 guests. The Islander property is a beautiful six-acre retreat with lush tropical gardens, direct access to the beach and steps to the famous eight-mile Kauai walking/biking path.
THE CONDO: New paint throughout unit (April 2026) with new decor and furnishings provide the perfect beachy vibe for your stay. Tempur-pedic king size bed and linens for a fabulous night's sleep. Comfortable seating area, smart TV with both streaming services and local cable, and free wi-fi for relaxing in the room. Private lanai with table and chairs are perfect for taking in the view of the ocean and grounds. Kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig, dishes, utensils and more. Large bathroom with plenty of counter space, shower/tub, hairdryer and toiletries (shampoo/conditioner/body wash).
THE PROPERTY: Exquisitely landscaped grounds and plantation style architecture make the Islander stand out amongst the competition. Amenities include the oceanfront pool, whirlpool spa, outdoor grills & more. Poolside Tiki bar featuring happy hour specials to kick off your evening.
THE SURROUNDINGS: The complex is located steps from Coconut Marketplace, a fabulous open-air market with a small grocery store and a variety of retail and dining options. Lava Lava Beach Club is right next door on the beach and has delicious food with daily live music. Kauai Village Shopping Center is a mile down the road and includes a Safeway, ABC Store, Starbucks, Ross and more. The Islander is adjacent to the 8 mile Ke-ala-Hele-Makalae path, which is perfect for walking, biking and jogging along the scenic coast. Bikes can be conveniently rented next door at Coconut Marketplace.
THE HOST: We are excited to offer our 3rd outstanding VRBO property. We also have another Kauai location #2522554 and an MGM penthouse in Las Vegas #3286637.
Guest details: no resort fees or management fees! Reservation includes free parking and free wifi. Unit is always professionally cleaned between each guest and mid-stay services are available for an additional fee. #321 is privately managed and does not have access to Aqua Aston's housekeeping services or laundromat, however there is a laundromat nearby in Kapa'a 1/4 mile away. NOTE: there are no elevators on the property, unit is on the 3rd floor with a total of 28 steps.

Clean room and host is fast to respond. Right on the beach and walking over to your room is surrounded by a lot of tropical greenery. You’re on the third floor however and there wasn’t any elevator I seen but still worth it.

Thank you Chris for staying at Islander 321 and for leaving us a 5 star review. Being steps away from the beach is definitely the place to be. We love that you appreciated the beautiful grounds at the Islander - it's a fantastic place to stroll through and see all of the tropical plants. It is true that like most beachfront Kauai properties, there is no elevator, however the stairs are very user friendly with landings, railings etc.
We had a great stay. The location is wonderful, centrally located for the activities we did on the island. The place itself has a lovely ocean view from the Lanai. A nice bonus was the beautifully tended gardens surrounding the property with information signs telling you about the local plants. We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. There is a view of the ocean from the balcony, and we were close enough that we could hear the waves crashing at night. The unit was small as expected, but had everything we needed and was clean. The pool and hot tub were nice with a bar that had a nightly happy hour. We were able to grill our own steaks one evening with the gas-powered grills on the property by the pool. The location in Kapa'a made it easy to explore both the Northern and Southern parts of the island. The Coconut Market next door has lots of stores, restaurants, and events going on almost every day. We would definitely return.
