Welcome to our Dahlonega Mountain Hideaway. Nestled on a hillside with a serene, year-round mountain view, this pet-friendly (pet fee applies*) home is the perfect spot for those wanting to tour Dahlonega's many wineries (3 wineries within 3 miles).

Upon entering from the peaceful screened porch, you will say "hello" to cathedral ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace with wood-stove insert. The living room TV comes equipped with DISH. The upstairs suite has its own deck and expansive bathroom with a soaking tub.

The 30' long main floor deck features a grilling and lounging area, so you can enjoy the views with your morning coffee or evening wine.

The downstairs apartment is rented by a long-term tenant. They park in the lower parking area pictured.

Property Notes:
- The last section of road is gravel but well-maintained. The driveway is paved.
- We are pet-friendly (pet fee applies). Please inquire before booking if your pet exceeds 20 pounds.
- The oversized chair in the upstairs common area is a pull-out twin bed for additional sleeping.
- We have a pack 'n play available for those traveling with little ones.
- We have a Ring doorbell at the entry, but no other cameras.
- The yard is shared access with the downstairs tenant. Please keep your dog on a leash.
- During certain times of the year, motorcyclists enjoy the mountain roads. During the day, guests can hear the motorcycles as they run nearby.

Q: Are you pet-friendly?
A: *There is a pet fee for all pets that are not service animals. The pet fee is $60 plus 16% tax per pet (per stay, not day). The first pet will be included in your booking total if you select "Pets" when booking. Please let us know about any additional pets right after you book and we will charge your payment method before your stay. Restrictions: Up to 2 dogs under 20 lbs., vaccinations up-to-date, crated while guests are not on the property, do not leave pets on the deck.

Q: What if I accidentally damage something?
A: There is a $27 damage protection waiver included in the base rate for this property. It covers guests for up to $500 in accidental damages, if the guest reports damage that happens during their stay. Intentional damage, unreported damage, or anything exceeding $500 will be charged to the guest's payment method.

Q: Is there a fee for extra guests?
A: Please select the correct number of guests when booking, as there is a $10 (per person, per night) extra guest fee for each guest after 6.

Q: What if I need to cancel?
A: Although we have a strict cancellation policy, we offer travelers insurance if you're worried you may have to cancel your trip for any reason. More info can be found at the end of the listing description.

Q: What kind of coffee maker do you have?
A: Our property has a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. We provide both types of coffee.

Q: Do you provide firewood?
A: We do not provide firewood. Firewood can be purchased at any of the local gas stations or grocery stores.

Q: What kind of grill do you have?
A: We have a charcoal grill, and we do not provide charcoal.

Q: When is check-in/checkout?
A: Check-in is at 4 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m. Early check-ins are possible, but subject to availability and a $25 per hour fee, rounded to the nearest hour. Late checkouts are generally not available, but if we are able to make an exception, the fee is $25 per hour.

Q: How do I check in?
A: The address will be sent to you at the time of your booking, and your check-in information will be sent to you two days out from your stay.

Q: I thought I saw a different booking price the other day. Why did the price change?
A: This listing uses a dynamic pricing algorithm; prices are updated daily.

Additionally, although we have a strict cancellation policy, we offer travelers insurance if you're worried you may have to cancel your trip for any reason.

No music, loud noise, or sound-amplifying equipment outside between the hours of 10:00pm and 8:00am.

No pets without a pet fee, and the only pets that are acceptable are dogs. If it is found that guests brought a pet/pets without disclosing them, the guest will be subject to a $150 fee on top of the pet fees for the number of pets brought.

Guests causing excessive noise or disturbances, including, but not limited to, underage drinking, partying, drug use, and exceeding max occupancy, will be asked to check out immediately and full stay rent charge will be due including deposit amount with NO REFUNDS.

Guests who leave the place excessively dirty will be subject to additional cleaning fee. Examples of excessively dirty are stains on the floors and walls, pots and pans left unwashed in the sink, and trash left on the floor and outside.

Any guest that checks in early without written permission may result in a $50 per hour fee.

Any checkout after 10:00 am without written permission may result in a $50 fee.

Any checkout more than 2 hours after check out will result in a fee for the entire daily rate, without any discounts, and guests will still not have rights to the property.

Any guests checking out late that cause us to refund the next guests are subject to reimburse us for that amount, on top of the fees previously stated.
