All the amenities of home and plenty of space with a rustic cabin feel. I enjoyed shooting darts for the first time in 15 years! Thanks for a great stay!
This is a wonderful place to come and get some quiet and peaceful time. The views are lovely, the horses sweet and the house is cute, clean and comfortable. Also a very short drive to great hiking spots. We will definitely be back.
This place was wonderful, if you’re looking for a nice get away in the country mountains, this is place for you. We were all sad to leave. Will definitely return to this hidden gem in the mountains
This place is exactly as listed, but the views are beyond words!! The host was quick to respond, and was always available. There is no service (as described) but you won’t care once you get there. This trip was exactly what we needed. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!!
The pictures does not do this place justice. The house is beautiful inside and out. The landscape is awesome. We had a great time and we will make this our Memorial Day get away every year. The host was very courteous and responsive with all questions.
We chose this home because we wanted to stay in that area, for fishing. 5 stars for our experience, the house was very clean with lots of space inside and a full open yard with fire pit and very secluded too no neighbors next to you. I had direct contact with the owner via his cell phone and he was happy to help us with directions after we got lost. The house is perfect for a vacation. The location is close to the trout hatchery and the swinging bridge, lots of National Forest.
Property was exactly as listed. We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and rejuvenating. We booked this location while we were attending Dahlonega's Bear On the Square Bluegrass Festival. Although it was a distance to the festival (which we had already mapped out), it was a beautiful mountain drive to the festival. Beds were comfortable, amenities were plenty, and we didn't need for anything! Extremely private and serene. Hosts were accomodating and responsive, and had even gifted us with fresh baked good upon our arrival! Looking forward to staying again!
Everything was as expected. Very smooth process of reserving and host was quick to answer any questions throughout the process. Cabin was very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed and more. Perfect location for what we needed. We drove over and dropped our fellows for hiking and picked them back up later. Had dinner at Two Wheels of Suches which was just a couple miles away and food was great. Really enjoyed our stay. If back in this area we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
There is no place so perfect to cozy up inside to enjoy a rainy day than this location. Inside is so cozy, yet spacious… simple, but not lacking in personality. If you venture outside, the porches are covered and the grass is thick and lush. The only difficulty we had with this place was finding the road, but we chock that up to arriving after dark in the dense fog. The host was communicative and accommodating. Five stars all around: would definitely stay again.
The house is absolutely wonderful. It does need a little TLC: no hot water comes through the bathroom sink faucets, the tanks on the toilets need to be fixed, and the floors need to be cleaned better. Those are just minor fixes that can be quickly remedied. The house and location are great. It's not too far from Blairsville and Dahlonega. It is in the peace and quiet country which is how we prefer. Our host was great. I recommend this place.

Not as good as first time
This was our second time staying at this property. The first time was amazing. The second time not so amazing. The upkeep on the property has not been done in awhile. The grass was so high my chihuahua could not walk around. There was two brown recluse spiders

Unwelcome guest
The washer was nasty with dog hair and built-up lint (so dirty I chose not to put my dirty clothes in it), no hot water allowed to flow in bathroom sinks, a mouse had free range of any room of house and yard not properly maintained.
It was a beautiful place with plenty of room outside. Nice view across the meadows. The road/ drive in had one narrow bridge/culvert that made me little uneasy pulling out from drive but we made it fine. The inside was clean, 2 pillowcases had dog hair but it was the material that catches everything. They had extra pillowcases so we just swapped them. Had some issues with air conditioning, the ductless leaked a big puddle of water down the wall into the floor. We loved the big front porch and screened porch areas. Overall it was a beautiful place and we had a great time.
This was really wonderful! The location is amazing: under 5-10 minutes to so many different hikes, with different route options. One can even walk to the Appalachian trail. Woody gap, Miller’s gap are just nearby, Winfield lake is 5 min away too, and we also loved the hike to Coosa Bald. 15 min drive also takes you to Vogel state park with a ton of other hike possibilities. We loved staying there with our almost-3-year old hiker, and loved saying hello to the horses at the pasture which can be viewed from the house. The house is very comfortable, spotelessly clean and large, and the outdoor spaces and the gas grill are great. Even though there is no central heating, the space heaters work excellent and we were warm in the house (in spite of traveling during a cold snap!) Next time we would like to go to the same place and bring friends, too, since the house is so big and so perfect. Highly recommend!!! This is not the first time we are taking a little trip to the mountains in this area, and this is definitely the best place we stayed! Oh and let me add that the host is excellent and communicates very well and this made our trip super easy. And the complementary cookies were a very nice touch:))

Vrbo stay
The outdoor location was very quiet with a beautiful view of the mountains. The inside was cold, dark and not well cared for. The glass in the french doors were covered in dog slobber. I swept white dog hair out of the screened porch. There was a window in the living room with broken glass and some kind of open hole to the outside (possibly for some kind of ventilation tubing?). We could connect to WiFi but could never get the TV to work. We could not find the trail supposedly right next to the property. The beds were extremely small. There were 2 sauce pans for cooking. Dirty utensils at the outdoor grill. I spent most of time on the porch or at the fire pit. We were booked for three nights and left early in the morning after the second night.
It had everything we needed for our stay no complaints. It was very spacious for the amount if people we had.

Why they chose this property
I was looking for years for property that has character, privacy and views, and above all temperate climate. This may be one of handful of houses with elevation over 3000 ft within two hour of Atlanta. The road 60 and 180 are very scenic and have lot of bikers. This property is 300 yards from the road.
