Everything you need for your beach vacation is at Sundial G3. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the hall, and free wifi throughout. There is 1 assigned parking space.

The primary renter must be 25 years of age or older. This is a non-smoking property and no pets are permitted. Monthly rental rates are available October -March 1st.

During the spring break season, between the dates of March 1 through April 30 of each year, the person booking the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and must be present to physically check in at our office with your government issued ID present.

Great vacation!!

We were very impressed with the accommodations of this rental! We had a worry free stay and the views of the ocean were spectacular! We would have coffee on the back porch watching the dolphins every morning!!! Great place and would book this again in the future!!

everything was clean and loved the balcony, the pictures of the pool need to be updated bc the pics on the website are for the neighbors pool that they are passing off as the pools for this unit and the actual pool is very small and mostly shaded through out the day....The beach access is very nice and aside from the false pool pics, it was a great place to stay.

Fantastic condo

The condo is very tastefully decorated and clean. Kitchen was very well stocked. Beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic. It is close enough to the main restaurants and shopping (5 minute drive) but far enough away to get away from crazy crowds on the beach. We prefer smaller density buildings and this was perfect. Only 24 units. The pool is on the small side but we aren’t there for the pool. We loved the wrap around balcony. So much space and lots of seating. Perfect beachfront access and views. Elevators were quick and never had to wait more than a minute. The carts they provide for loading/unloading on each floor are also great to have. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location but had some issues.

The location was perfect although the place was dirty when we arrived. We needed to sweep and wipe dirt / fingerprints off the walls and railing. The place had noticeable water damage, paint peeling and door trim issues. The washer/dryer combo needed repair and was repaired the same day. The owners had actually bought a new washer dryer combo prior to our stay and it was installed while we were there, but not installed correctly so it didn’t work properly. If you have two cars make sure you ask (and purchase) another parking pass. Beach was awesome with a party store right across the street. Great for families.

Amazing, comfortable condo with a great view!

The condo is on the third floor of the beach side of the building. There is an elevator, on the street side of the building. This was the ONE slight inconvenience. Your assigned parking spot is very close to the beach, and the elevator is very close to the street, so you have to walk the length of the building from your car to the elevator, and then again from the elevator to your condo. We stayed in this condo with some family members - four adults, four teenagers, and a preteen. It was the perfect fit for our two households. Our two daughters shared a queen bed, the three teenaged boys shared the loft (two twins and a queen), and one couple got a queen bedroom and the other couple had a king bedroom with a master bath. There is also a hide-a-bed in the sofa that we did not open, so I can't attest to the comfort of that bed. There is a second bathroom with a shower stall, and a small stackable washer/dryer. The furniture in the living area has been updated since these photos. There are four entries to the wraparound balcony - two in the living area and in two of the bedrooms. The view was beautiful - we sat outside and watched dolphins one afternoon. There is easy access to the beach - head down the steps or to the elevator, go to the ground level, and you're there. Everything was nice - of course, it could use a little updating, but it was clean and comfortable. The wi-fi didn't work when we got there, so we called the property manager and they sent a maintenance person to us right away. There was a failure with the router, so he helped us to connect to a different one in the building. We enjoyed our stay enough that, should we choose to go to the same destination next year, we will everything in our power to rent this condo again.

This condo had a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of place settings for our large group. The appliances were all in good working order, location was the bomb, just steps from the ocean. The view was awesome! It could use a couple of tweaks, like the latch on the balcony gate was a little sketch and a couple of other minor opportunities. But all in all, we had an AWESOME week.

Nice with little annoyances

The location was amazing. The beach was beautiful and the property and the grounds were very clean. We stayed in unit G3. The balcony patio is not private. Other building occupants were always at the balcony so you never had the area to yourself which was annoying for the price we payed for our stay. The balcony railing was very wobbly so having toddlers outside was nerve-wracking. The balcony doors deadbolt was also very hard to get to latch. Our balcony was also missing outdoor light fixtures. The wiring was there, but no fixtures so we had to purchase lanterns to sit outside with the kids. Overall it was nice. We thankfully weren't in the unit really except for resting/sleeping.

Poorly Maintained

Overall, my family and I were disappointed with this property. When we arrived, the condo was very poorly cleaned - it was apparent that recent maintanence had been done due to the saw dust covering the table, counters and floors. Unfortunately, there was not a broom in the condo for us to sweep it up/clean it. The vaccuum in the closet also did not work. We had to buy a broom, which we were glad to have, as we later noticed broken glass inside and outside of the condo that our children and adults kept stepping on. This was entirely unacceptable. There was a broken screen from one of the windows (I'm assuming the window that broke and was replaced - hence the broken glass and sawdust) that was left leaning against the door of our condo when we checked in. All in all, I would NOT recommend this condo to anyone, and we will not be staying here again.

The deck is worth it!

The property is well-lived and bathrooms/kitchens could use some updating however we weren’t there for the inside. The wrap around deck is amazing to drink your morning coffee and watch the dolphins and the few short steps to the beach was perfect! We enjoyed our time away!

Sundial G3 Summer 2020

Location is amazing. Near everything. Walk to a small ‘waves’ shop across the street. Also liquor, ice, ice cream, and fresh seafood market directly across the street. The balcony of G3 is amazing. Wraps around the front and side with 3 entrances from within the unit and has the best views of the entire Sundial facility. Pool was fairly chilly. Doesn’t get much sun at all and it is small but served its purpose for our crew of 11 and a baby. Elevator was never very crowded or busy. Walked the stairs mostly bc assigned parking space is directly under the unit by the stairs. (48 stairs to be exact). Unit needs some updating. Door knobs to exterior. Chairs outside are rusted to the point of being not functional. Floors would be my biggest complaint. Missing grout in the tiles and very hard to clean although we swept them daily. New cabinets needed desperately in both bathrooms. The hall restroom vanity drawers are broken and could easily be repaired. The shower is broken. It’s either straight hot water or cold. No where in between. Master bath would use a facelift but plenty of counter space and great water pressure and hot water in the shower. Every dish we needed, we had! And we cooked a lot. Kitchen is well stocked. Rooms were comfortable and fit three adult couples and 6 kids well! Parking is for TWO VEHICLES only per unit; parking tag (paid for extra) that you can use to park in a visitor spot.

FILTHY!!!

I have been looking forward to this stay since last July. The location and view is great. However, the condo was filthy... DISGUSTING. I'm not upset nor care that the condo and furniture needed updating and can understand with a rental there will be some "use/wear and tear" seen. But I was appalled by the actual condition. I am in the military, 14 yrs, and can handle a lot of environments and have stayed in a lot of hotels, motels, barracks, etc and I felt gross being in this condo. Dirt everywhere, like people filth/dirt everywhere. Sheets and linen were grossly stained and had stuff crusted on them. Hair found everywhere. Not just one or two strands found on the bed, but we pulled back one of the blankets and found 10+ hairs on just one pillow... as if the sheets were never washed. The floor looked like it was never swept or mopped, in several rentals, to the point my feet turned black within the first several minutes walking through the condo. The rug in the living room that is supposed to be cream color was so dirty it is now dark brown/black. Inches... INCHES of dirt on all the ceiling fans and even the air return vent that is thigh level in the hallway. The dining room light and ceiling fan in the loft were falling out of the ceiling exposing items in the attic/ceiling,... the list is endless. We contacted the management company thinking that maybe it wasnt cleaned and/or they were not aware of the current condition. We were assured it was cleaned the day prior and a supervisor came through and verified is was completed. We attempted to work with them, asking for leadership to come witness the condos condition and requested to have them come clean, DEEP clean, and all they offered was to sweep and change out the sheets. Our experience with the condo and management company was so bad that we chose to cancel our stay and be refunded our money, without a back up condo scheduled during Spring Break because there was no way we were staying there. I hope the owner and management company take this feedback and DEEP CLEAN and update the condo as is has a wonderful view and great location.

Overall not horrible, but could use some updates. The master bed is a king but very HARD & very loud. Just getting in and out of bed is horrible. The stove in kitchen barely works. The toaster handle has to be held down to heat up. Not sure if i would stay again

The hidden gem of Gulf Shores.

This condo is small and never crowded. Plenty of room on the beach. The view from the balcony is absolutely priceless. This is one of my favorite places on Earth. We had an awesome vacation and no one wanted to leave. We will definitely be returning next year.

Plenty of Room

Was not sure what to expect based on other reviews but there was plenty of room for the 8 of us and could have accommodated 12 easily. The balcony was a great place to hang in the early AM and later in the evening. Glad there was an elevator so it was easy to unload and load from the car. The loft which has a queen and two twin beds decorated in car decor was a great place for the kids to hang out. The living room has limited seating with a couch and recliner but the dining table and kitchen bar has plenty of seating. The condo was clean and had all its amenities but the ceiling fans looked like they had not been cleaned in a year...that was strange. The outside of the unit could use a coat of paint because that is your first impression. The pool was small but the kids loved it. The only real drawback was the WIFI which we never got connected for the Xbox. Parking can be tricky because there is only one assigned place per condo. So if you bring more than one car make sure you get a parking pass for that second car and be prepared to always keep one car in guest parking so you don't lose it. But with all this being said, we would definitely rent this condo again. We had the best time and it is conveniently located to restaurants, The Hangout, Waves and to all the shops. One last thing...the bedroom that doesn't have access to the balcony, it has a strange sound coming from the vent that can be a little annoying when you are trying to sleep.

You get what you pay for...

My girl friend and I took our son's and a few friends to this Unit for Spring Break. We had plenty of clean towels, but I had old blood stains on my comforter in the Master Bedroom. The mattress on the sofa bed was so thin it was like sleeping on springs. The kids also found old crackers and crumbs in the sheets. The back door knob was very loose making it hard to use the door which leads to the balcony. The kitchen faucet was hard to move from hot to cold and I thought the nozzle would eventually fall off. Who ever leased the property before us put dirty dishes away the morning they are suppose to clean all the dishes and put away. There was peanut butter on some forks and knives and all the plates, cups and utensils had to be washed in the dishwasher before we could use them as they had leftover food particles on them. The kitchen cabinets drawers were so sticky, clearly they needed to be washed down and even re-painted. No knob on the dishwasher so I had to guess where the beginning of the cycle was. There were a few other things, but this is enough to say. I feel so bad, because the management company was so accommodating and helped me with everything and anything I needed. I did give them a handwritten list so they could give it to the owner in hopes she just didn't know all of the above. But, to book it at the very last minute and the price, I guess what should I have expected. It has enough beds for everyone and we did have an awesome time. We weren't going to let broken things ruin our FUN...... I'm sure the owner didn't know and will get all of this fixed. Do know that this unit is on the 3rd floor and the elevator is way down on the other side. I had a back surgery go wrong so this was not convenient for me, but the kids could care less. Wanted you to know just in case you need a bottom floor. God Bless.

BIGGEST VACATION DISAPPOINTMENT IN HISTORY!

My family and I were very excited. We had never been to Gulf Shores before, and could not believe we were lucky enough to find a condo right on the beach. After driving 14 hours to get there, we carried our bags up to the unit, I was the first one in and never in a million years did I expect to see what I did. It was the dirtiest, unkempt place I have ever seen. It does not look like it had been painted for years and years. Also, there was blood on a chair, crusty food on the walls, broken furniture, mold on the ceiling vents, hair on the toilet seat, hair in between the sheets, (we were told the unit had been cleaned). We made a call to management and asked that they come and talk to us. The manager came, and said they would move us, but could not guarantee it would be facing the beach, and I was sure it would not be any cleaner than the one we were in, so said no, that is not an option. She said it must not have been cleaned this week. I said there is no way the place is this gross from not cleaning it once, this was years and years of neglect. They said they would have housekeeping and maintenance come in and work on it, but after spending our first 3 hours of vacation out on the patio because the place was too gross to be in, and no way were we going to unpack our bags. I told her the only solution was for us to get our money back so we could to find a different place. Our money was refunded, but did not make up for the stress we had that first day. We had 7 adults and 3 very young children with us, so not what we expected for a vacation at Gulf Shores. I will say that we were able to find a different place to stay, so the vacation was saved! Please think twice before staying here, save yourself the misery!
