Fern was an excellent host. Her home was clean, very convenient to downtown, and well stocked with amenities. We had an excellent time, and would definitely rent from Fern again.

Long Weekend To Attend Sembrich Concert

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was great having two bathrooms and a full kitchen. The convenience of being able to walk to everything in Bolton Landing is a plus.

Small but very clean.

The property was very clean and was great location to town! Having two bathrooms was very convenient, but not having a living room would make it tough to have more than two of us there. There was confusion when the management company sent information that was different than the listing. I heard back from the host with correct details, but would be good to have management company on same page with host. Overall we enjoyed the stay!

Bolton Landing Base Camp

My spouse and I were looking for a convenient base camp from which to explore the Lake George area. This property fit the bill! The house was small but well-stocked, with a full kitchen separating two bedrooms and bathrooms. Walkable neighborhood with local shops, restaurants, brewery, deli, laundry, and ice cream made this a perfect choice. If you enjoy sunrises, the park and beach across the street were a 2-minute stroll. Tennis and pickleball courts were also conveniently located behind the visitors center. Lake George Village was a 20-minute drive and had lots to offer in mid-September. Our host, Fern, was responsive to questions via email and was also available by phone if needed. All in all, I would definitely recommend this tidy cottage to anyone looking for either a week-long or long weekend getaway.

Clean, comfortable, and in the middle of everything. Don’t be put off by it being two bedrooms and just a kitchen. The big deck with chairs and a table more than made up for it! Who wants to be inside anyway!

Long weekend getaway at Lake George

My husband and our two friends stayed at this property for a long weekend escape outside the city. The location was great, near the start of Bolton's landing which is a lovely town, nice stores & boutiques, good restaurants and plenty to see and activities to do. Everything is in walking distance of the cabin and although it is not far off the Main Street the property is very quiet. The cabin its self was very clean with a nice deck to sit on. A few caveats, we assumed there was a living area or common area besides the kitchen, but there is not. If the weather is not great, the only place outside the bedrooms to hang out is at the kitchen table. The cabin was not well stocked, there was no detergent for the dishwasher and no K-cups for the coffee maker. Also the listing notes gas grill, but it was a charcoal grill, but no coals were provided. We went out and purchased a bag of coals and left the remaining coals for the next visitors. Other than those call outs, our weekend was very enjoyable.

Cottage in Bolton Landing

This cottage is adorable and incredibly clean! But there is no real living room. Just a central kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It’s right in the center of town, close to restaurants and shopping, and across the street from the public beach. Extremely convenient.

Cute and convenient cottage

Super charming cottage with really efficient use of space. It’s neat and tidy. The cabin is set back just behind a deli on the small main street of a charming town. Access to the water is just across the street and through a lovely public park. Lots of recreational activities were going on around Lake George. Previous review mentioned weak wifi -- which we also experienced --- which is OK because there are lots of books to read in the large closet of one of the bedrooms.

Perfect location. Steps away from Bolton Landing shops, restaurants and beaches.

Clean, comfortable, perfectly located home. The only negative was that the WiFi inside the house was pretty much non existent. You needed to be outside on the deck to be able to use it. The two separate bedrooms with their own attached baths made for ideal privacy.

This place is tucked down a little alley way and was fantastic for our stay. 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do!! I will definitely consider staying here in the future
