Welcome to The Loft at Golden Meadows Farm. This is a picturesque and peaceful getaway in the tall pines on an actual hobby farm with goats, chickens and horses. Beautiful views and hiking on site. This barn apartment is brand new with full kitchen and beautiful finishes. Enjoy meals on the porch with great views of Colorado wildlife. Conveniently located just north of Bayfield in the beautiful Pine River Valley. Convenient location to Purgatory Ski and Wolf Creek Ski as well as Durango and all of the amazing recreation our area has to offer.
Downstairs is the columbine room with queen size bed, heating and a/c and direct access to the patio with beautiful views. Bathroom includes a stone, walk in shower and all towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided. Washer and drier is also included in the unit. The kitchen includes brand new appliances, dishwasher, microwave, oven/range and full sized refrigerator as well as bar top seating. Cooking utensils and dishes provided! The second bedroom is in the loft and includes a king size bed. Large patio is the perfect place to watch wildlife, listen to the birds, or enjoy a meal. Patio has a propane grill and seating. This is the perfect launching pad to adventure or serene spot to rest and enjoy the Colorado beauty. Your hosts are third and fourth generation residents of the area and can provide locals’ recommendations for the best our area has to offer. Farm fresh eggs provided for every stay.

The place is perfect is you want a quite,safe place to enjoy the outdoors. Wonderful family, who share great places to visit. Very clean, and the fresh eggs were delicious! Would highly recommend. Beautiful drive to anywhere.

This is the third VRBO that I have rented in Bayfield, and it was by far the best! The farm location was beautiful, the inside was large and cozy, the kitchen and bathroom were roomy and well equiped. My mom loves the kitchen, my wife loved the loft, and my baby loved the cat.This is the most comfortable VRBO I have ever rented and I will looking for it next time I am in town.

We had a great stay. A nice place to come back and relax after a long day. Being greeted by cats, chickens and horses was the best part. The host provided delicious eggs from their chickens. I really like the surrounding forest and meadows and very comfortable indoor and outdoor furnishings. We definitely will be back!

Family of 4 worked stayed. This rental worked well for our hub while exploring. Owners were very helpful they suggestions were our fav hikes! Highly recommend and would stay again.

The Loft is perfect place if you want to have a peaceful getaway and experience a piece of Colorado paradise! My husband and I so enjoyed the modern and comfy space- so clean! The horses and chickens practically right outside the windows were a bonus. I also loved the little touches like fresh farm eggs and the fire pit on the patio. Thank you for such a relaxing stay. We are sure to come back!

This home is so beautiful. The hosts are so kind and gave a lot of good recommendations on food shopping and adventures. We will definitely be back here again. The perfect spot for our family. Our kids loved getting to feed the horses carrots. We enjoyed kitty cat snuggles from the sweet little black cat. The views were incredible. The deer came so close. The patio was were we spent most of our times when we were actually there in the mornings and evenings. Beds were comfy. Very thankful for the farm fresh eggs.

Lovely Vrbo with farm animals and great beds
