Nestled inside of lovely Deerfield Village, Serenity offers winter visitors a short drive to the slopes and an onsite restaurant too. Spring, summer and fall guests can enjoy a number of onsite activities like volleyball, tennis, horseshoes, swimming pool and more. Easy year-round access makes it easy to enjoy area activities and attractions. When your warriors are weary just head back to the house for a quiet meal and movie by the fireplace. Perfect fall weekend getaway

This condo was perfect for a weekend away in the mountains. Close to many trails and a great playground for the kids on the property. Easy drive to Davis.

Loved staying in this townhouse in Deerfield Village. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. It backs onto trees so the deck is pretty private.

Great Stay at Serendipity

We recently enjoyed a three night stay at Serendipity. It was a great experience - very easy check in and perfect location. The unit was well maintained and clean. They have everything you need for cooking. One bit of warning — the grocery store in Davis is small, so if there is something you really prefer from home, bring it! The location to Blackwater Park (visit the falls and Lindy Point) was perfect. Davis is a small town and so is Thomas, but they have some cute shops and enough places to eat. If I had to pinpoint a few drawbacks to this unit it the TVs could use updating and the wifi was slow. But you don’t come here for that. Otherwise everything was great and as shown on VRBO.

A very special place to stay

The town house was immaculate, well and comfortably furnished and everything needful was provided. It is so well located in the valley; close enough to walk to a delicious supper or easily drive to anywhere from Thomas to the Canaan resort and ski lift. That meant that anything from going for an evening at the Purple Fiddle in Thomas to a hike up to Bald Knob, going for groceries in Davis or exploration of Lindy Point was all within easy reach. Coming “home” to this very pretty, well furnished rental added greatly to my whole vacation experience.Booking was simple and the staff warm, accommodating and friendly. I knew if I needed anything, they would help.

We’ve known Deerfield Village for several years being native West Virginians (but now living in Houston, TX since 2001 as a result of a corporate buyout). Always our go-to place when visiting my wife’s hometown of Moorefield, WV. This place did not disappoint....appears to have been refreshed during its life.

Serenity Now! and we hope later too.

This was our second stay in the valley and in Deerfield Village and we love them both. This unit was very clean and had everything we needed for the multiple meals that we cooked. We really liked the layout and usability of this unit and would say the bathrooms and showers are above average. The only thing below average are the mattresses but we still slept very well. Bose stereo loaded with a Toots and the Maytals CD was a nice touch. Vacationers looking for a book to read will find an impressive loaner libary throughout the house. The back deck is huge and the charcoal Weber fit our bill. It appears the owners are supporters of wildflowers in West Virginia and we appreciate that too. This was a luxurious unit for just the two of us but would work very well with two kids too. We highly recommend this unit.

Fall Beauty

We had a wonderful week at #29 Deerfield Village. The house was clean, comfy, cozy, well appointed, it had everything we needed. The towels were super luxurious! We enjoyed eating on the deck. It's centrally located to attractions in Canaan Valley! We picked a great week as the leaves were changing and it was gorgeous!
