Victorian Village home near Short North, OSU

Beautiful 1880s Victorian home with a large, open living space and two outdoor spaces (a large front porch and a back deck with grill, smoker, fire pit and garden). Original artwork throughout.

We are a short walk to the OSU campus oval (0.8 mile) and stadium (1.4 miles), two blocks from Kroger grocery, and walking distance to all that the Short North and Italian Village have to offer. Free street parking for one car, $3/day for each additional car (charged separately).

We are two OSU professorsv who spend most weekends at our Kentucky cabin and rent our home out when we are away. This means that the house is lived-in, and not a full-time rental, and you will see our things around.

Very large living area with high ceilings, well-loved leather sofa and chair, wood pellet burning stove, baby grand piano, and large library. Large and recently remodeled kitchen with marble countertops, 6 burner gas stove and electric oven, and every imaginable kitchen tool. Super-autimatico espresso machine with milk frother for homemade espresso and lattes, and a regular drip coffee machine for those who prefer it. Large table seats 8-10, and the dining room has three large windows into the backyard. Half bath off the kitchen. Full size washer and dryer in the basement.

Upstairs there are four bedrooms (one cal king, two bedrooms with a queen each, and one with queen sofa pullout).

PLEASE NOTE: the fold out sofa bed in the office is only made up by request. Please note whether or not you need the fold out bed in your request to book.

There is a full bath upstairs, with a bathtub and shower combination. A towel and washcloth are provided for each guest.

No guests without permission and no additional overnight guests beyond those included in the booking.
