This is a wonderful rental for a family getaway. It’s in a great location in The Heights neighborhood. We easily walked to dinner one evening and could have done more pedestrian-centered activities if I could have pulled my kids out of the pool. It was the perfect layout for lounging or playing. The living and dining areas were spacious, the kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were comfortable. Access to the washer/dryer on the 2nd level was convenient. There was living/playing area for kids upstairs as well. There were several TVs and they were easy to use. It was very clean and comfortable. Would love to stay again!

Somewhat complicated use of apps, to control pool, hot tub, and lights . Bubble jets not functional on hot tub, that was disappointing. Seemed like a quick turnaround from previous guests, could have been cleaner.

Julian was great! Very responsive during the booking process and throughout our stay. This was a perfect home for gatherings, we were in Houston to visit family over the holidays. The home is close to everything, bars, restaurants, shopping, this place is very convenient! I will be booking with Julian next time I'm in Houston! Thank you Julian for allowing us to book your home and being so accommodating.

Great stay in Houston!

Totally as advertised and Julian was a pleasure to work with. The pool, the layout, the comfy beds, the surrounding neighborhood all were fantastic. Our only issue preventing us from giving it a perfect stay was the overall value. The price for the long weekend was priced high. Thanks for the stay!

We live in town and reserved Julian's property for out of town relatives to stay in for my son's graduation and to have a home base large enough to accommodate about 20 relatives hanging out during the day with 6 very comfortably stay overnight. All I can say is that everyone, aged 16-86 was very comfortable and had so much fun! Julian has pretty much thought of EVERYTHING. We particularly enjoyed the games in the garage, the giant sectional for maximum family flopping, the pool and the spa. Also, the beds were great! Julian was very responsive and kind. His place and extra care made what would have been a hectic weekend, very relaxing. Also, I am biased bc I live in the neighborhood (but in a 2/1 cottage) but the location is also great bc the Heights is lovely but also bc this property is right down the street from the best grocery store in the US - HEB!

Houston Weekend

We stayed in Houston to visit family. It was just two nights but the property, host and neighborhood were all exceptional! Julian was super attentive and thought of everything! The property was immaculate and exactly as advertised. The neighborhood was very cool with tons of restaurants and various shops. Highly recommend this property.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Julian's oasis. The home, pool, and amenities were everything we hoped and more and as others have said, we felt the photos do not do the place justice. We particularly appreciated the wonderful high ceilings, the spacious, well-appointed kitchen, the crazy-comfortable sectional sofa, the cozy, comfy bedrooms, the game and movie selection, the ping pong and air hockey set-up in the garage, and the state-of-the-art electronics throughout the property. I'm a pool person and I've rented lots of homes with pools in Houston, and Julian's is easily my favorite. Everything from the configuration of the yard, pool and hot tub, to the water temps, to the fun array of pool toys was just perfect. Julian really considers every single detail and was incredibly kind and communicative both before and during our stay. We'll be back for sure!!!

Great long family weekend

I stayed with my three tween/teenaged kids and we really enjoyed the house and pool. It was clean, attractive, spacious, and in a really great location for restaurants and activities. Julian was super responsive and helpful, even asking our preferred temperature for the house when we arrived. He clearly cares a lot about the house and his guests’ experience. 10/10 would recommend.

Houston trip

We stayed in this beautiful home while we visited Houston last weekend. The pictures don’t do justice because it was even better in person. Julian was a great host and very accommodating especially with our grandbaby. The house is very spacious and immaculately clean. You will find everything you need for your stay. The house was near a grocery store and centrally located to where I needed to be during my stay.

Family gathering for engagement party

Julian was very responsive and accommodating to any questions we had. He really put a lot of thought for both the indoor and outdoor living spaces. The dehumidifier to keep the house cool on both floors. The magnetic mesh door screen to keep the bugs out. We had two families staying in the home and we all enjoyed our stay! I look forward to booking the home again in the future.

Gorgeous, Family-Friendly Property with Amazing Hosts

I have stayed at several vacation homes and have never experienced anything like my stay at this particular home. The property was BEAUTIFUL (I actually think the pictures did not do the property justice) From pre-check-in to checkout, our host, Julian, was welcoming and accommodating. The neighborhood was quiet and was easy to get to. The amenities provided everything needed to make the adults and kids happy. The host was kind, considerate, and accommodating. His attention to detail made the stay more relaxing and inviting than I could have expected. If we are ever traveling back to Houston, no doubt, this is where we will be staying.

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!

The listing does NOT do justice to how amazing this house is! I can't wait to visit Houston again, just to stay here! Even better than the house is the host, Julian. He was so accommodating for early check in. He knew we were celebrating a birthday and generously left a bottle of champagne in the fridge. As we had questions throughout the weekend, he was consistently available, kind, and wonderful to work with. I give ALL the stars and highly recommend!!
