Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our family liked the larger pool and the short walk to the private beach access. There were a couple of small issues ( broken toilet seat, broken chair ) that the host fixed quickly after being informed.

We had a very pleasant stay at Blue Paradise--all 17 of us. The 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms were just what we needed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and we liked the fact that the living area was on the top level of the house. The smooth walkway to the beach access was appreciated as was the pleasant neighborhood and the location in general. We had quick access to all that we needed.

Lots of balconies and short walk to the beach.

Stayed at the property with extended family, 15 total. Cooked all but one meal at the house and almost every room had a balcony. Large enough to give everyone space and it was a short walk to the sand. Good food and ice cream near by. Parking was great and enough room for everyone to park and get out when needed. Owner is very responsive with communication throughout the booking and stay.

Great Beach House for large group

Lovely spacious house, we were a large family and friends group , everyone had their own spaced and loved it. The house is lovely decorated and very clean and has everything you need for an OBX vacation. It is well situated, where we enjoyed walking to the beach, restaurants and shops. The group enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I would highly recommend this house. Jesse was quick to respond to our questions and needs.

Amazing stay!

My friends and I had an amazing stay here! The house is so spacious and allowed all of us to have our own space and be so comfortable. The living room is the perfect hang out space as well. The house is so conveniently located close to the beach. Great stay all around!

Great for Groups!

This property is great for large groups. We had 17 adults & the layout was ideal. Also, everyone appreciated the high quality mattresses. The host was a great communicator, and responded well and attentively to an unforeseen circumstance. Highly recommend and hope to return again!

Great house for large family

19 of us stayed here, and this house worked well to accommodate us. The kitchen is well stocked, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the movie room and pool table. The property manager was very responsive to all of our requests/inquiries during our stay.

Great location and Great communication.

The property was centrally located to go literally everwhere within a 15-20 minute timeline. Our extended family had a lot of room in the house and each bedroom having their own bathroom was the best aspect of the home. The communication with the host was fantastic, he was very responsive to our calls. We had a small number of issues like an electric outage or leaving behind a wallet. The host was very responsive. I would recommend this property especially for large groups.

Great house for a family

There were a few hiccups but the owner was super responsive and got them taken care of to the best of their ability, the communication overall was fantastic! The pool and hot tub were the biggest hits, the projector for the movie room was a hiccup but after it was fully resolved it was also a huge hit! The house had a ton to offer, convenient and close to multiple stores, restaurants and many beach access points. I ended up bringing way more than I needed because the house was pretty stocked with kitchen and beach equipment. I would definitely rent from them again!

Unfortunately this property is in pretty severe disrepair to the point that the decks are unsafe. The biggest issue was that the top floor deck facing the ovean needs to be replaced. The railing is barely attached so even lightly leaning against it could cause it to break. We stayed here with 8 kids and realized it early in our stay when they all ran out to check out the view. The property management company sent a handyman out to do what he could but the deck would have to be redone to get even close to acceptable safety standards. There were also ants all over the kitchen and a terrible smell on the top floor that wouldn't air out. Most of the outdoor furniture needs to be replaced and is rickety enough that it was a hazard to sit in. The furnishings inside are shabby but adequate. With appropriate repair, maintenance and refurbishing this could be a great property. The layout is solid and good for large families but missing important basic safety expectations.

Thank you for your feedback. We take safety and cleanliness very seriously and want every guest to feel comfortable during their stay. When notified about a loose deck post, our maintenance team was on-site approximately 90 minutes later and reinforced the railing the same day. The guests confirmed they were satisfied with the repair. We also offered to inspect the other decks, but this was declined. At no point during the visit or after departure did our team find loose boards, exposed nails, or an ant issue. The home is professionally treated for pests on a regular basis. We conduct monthly walk-throughs of all decks and systems and respond promptly to any concerns. While we regret that these additional claims were not raised during the stay, we are confident that our quick response, regular maintenance, and strong history of positive reviews reflect our commitment to providing a safe, welcoming home for families.
