Michael, thank you for staying with us in Government Camp and sharing your positive feedback. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your visit and look forward to welcoming you back!
We were a group of 20 and the lodge absorbed us perfectly.
The kitchen was well appointed for our large dinners each night.
The location is great for quick access to hiking.
Be aware it is located directly in a very busy intersection so the traffic noise is quite loud.
We had a great time staying at this property. The house was big enough for our group. The first floor has a musty/ moldy smell in the rooms. Airing out the place would have helped. The wooden fireplace gave out plenty of heat and that was very enjoyable.
The hot tub was big and worked just fine.
Overall we really liked this property

No pets left alone in house unless crated No pets on furniture (we provide a couch cover in the pet basket) Pets must be on leash when outside of property Pet waste must be cleaned up immediately (bags are provided in pet baskets)Special events are not allowed.Smoking is allowed outside.Pass: The guest will need a snow pass to access certain areas to park. They may access more information here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/main/mthood/passes-permits/recreationThis listing is equipped with a grill, grilling tools and propane. The main road is kept clear as it’s the main road up to the mountain, the only thing you will need is to have chains for your tires or 4 wheel drive. We have not had any experience with a guest not being able to the get to the cabin.
