Come stay at this beautifully constructed, brand new Allandale flat. You will absolutely love the peace and quiet of the house We are conveniently located near key Austin destinations. Downtown, UT, the Capitol are all less than a 15-minute drive away. Great bars (Ginny's Little Longhorn Saloon, Little Woodrows, Pinthouse Pizza) and excellent restaurants (Epicerie, Phil's Icehouse, Peached Tortilla) walking distance away. The modern flat was constructed in 2015, overlooking a gorgeous backyard. Whether for a quite weekend or to spend SXSW here, come stay with us to get a taste of the Austin lifestyle.

Fantastic living place for long term stays!!!!

The garage apartment/loft is very much as described/shown online. It is spartan & very clean, but has all basics you need. I chose it because of the wonderful openness created by all the windows in the living space area. Bedroom & bathroom well adequate with all you need. Peter very quick and responsive to any small problems that arise, even ones that I had personally or simply Austin questions. I arrived after the unusual ice freeze so it was still cold; and stayed 4 months through to sweltering 100 degree heat indices. We had a bit of a problem with the AC initially with the strange up & down Texas weather, which Peter was on top of immediately. The Allandale neighborhood is absolutely wonderful! Older Austin with tree-lined streets, neighbors out walking all the time, each lot differently built-on and nice to walk all around streets, and the garage apt/loft is in the back, so very quiet with covered patio to sit on & small yard. The only problem I had was when I arrived the house was up for rent and all dark, and I had trouble finding the driveway to the back because it was so dark and the garage was not lit. And, you have to be willing to go up & down an outside wooden flight of stairs to get to apt. But that makes the view & breeze from the upstairs windows all the nicer! House now rented by nice older couple (like me!). Excellent place for long term stay. I would’ve been very happy to stay much longer (I am a traveling physician)! Recommend highly, 5 ⭐️!

Perfect six weeks

We enjoyed everything about this wonderful apartment. It is clean, comfortable and well cared for. Peter is warm and attentive. We particularly enjoyed the restful vacation feeling of looking out at the trees. The yard was perfect for playing with our 2 little grandsons. It is in a wonderful neighborhood for walking, food shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend and hope to stay again when visiting Austin.

Great spot!!

We enjoyed our month at this comfortable flat with private seating area below and quiet neighborhood. Great place to relax, watch birds, enjoy the breezes and just hang. Great neighborhood to walk and pubs and food a stroll away. Will definitely come back!

Just perfect!

We loved every day of our stay at this flat. It was perfect for our month in Austin...close to good biking, The Epicerie (best beignets ever!), other restaurants and HEB (you don't appreciate HEB until you leave Texas). The flat is great - well stocked, lots of storage and great outdoor space. Loved having a full size washer and dryer! We felt very safe with the keypad on the fence and house. Peter was very responsive when we had questions. We hope to stay here again!
