Reconnect with loved ones in this family-friendly place. Pet and kid friendly. No pet fee! Tons of games, separate free standing game room with ping pong, bikes and outdoor toys. Everything you need for the beach, chairs, kayak, boogie boards, umbrella. Get kids off their screens! Privacy fenced yard, fire pit, grill, outdoor eating space. All the amenities that other beach cottages lack --- indoor bathrooms, washer/dryer, dishwasher. Just like home!

Beachside community, 3 blocks to Beach. Several restaurants and convenience stores within easy walking distance. Could be a great vacation for those without a car, 10 minutes to Old Saybrook Amtrak station, everything you need is nearby and / or easily walkable.

Old Lyme is close to Mohegan and Foxwoods casinos, Mystic Seaport, Old Saybrook with renowned restaurants and the Katherine Hepburn Center, Gillette castle, Florence Griswold Museum, USS Nautilus, US Coast Guard Academy.

Weekend getaway

I appreciated the prompt reply to a last minute getaway request. Plenty of supplies were available, though the kitchen and supplies were not as tidy as I would have liked. The host was responsive to my questions or concerns which I greatly appreciated.
