For a place that will sleep 12, there are not enough chairs for dining or lounging. The outdoor cushions were moldy.and dirty. We ended up only being a group of 8 and things worked out very well for us. A railing on the lower portion of the 2nd floor stairs would be helpful.
Well first we got to the place after our flight and the code didn’t work, so I luckily found a door open so we could actually get in the house. Called and texted the owner and no response for 2 hours by then it was already 11pm. And then when we wake up the outside is a disaster. Weeds and spider webs everywhere. Backyard definitely hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. And the windows barely have blinds so early in the morning super bright. You can definitely tell these people don’t live in the area and it’s just a house that they rent out and they don’t keep up very good.

Disappointed
Overall the house is good. It is clean. Location for us was also good. Owner response to text or phone or contact through the App is poor. He finally responded at 5 minutes after check in time with the code to enter the house after numerous attempted to connect on my part. On the last morning the furnace had stopped working and the owner never responded to attempts to connect how to proceed. He also stated we could park a car next to the house in the alley. Within 30 minutes of parking, the neighbor was parked by the door beeping his F150 truck horn to let us know we had to move our car and that this “really p***es me off”. We moved the car to the street which is a distance from the house. The next day our friend visited and parked her car in the alley. When she came out there was a business card on her window which read “Wow,another euro-driver parked their car like a doiche. Shocking”
We were in town for a wedding and this house was perfect for what we needed for the weekend. The house is charming. We initially had a problem getting into the house due to a code issue but the property managers/owners responded right away and were accommodating until we were able to get in, which didn’t take long at all. Would definitely recommend.

An Experience!
The house was not clean, there was not enough silverware to go around for our group of 12 and there was mice on the main level and upstairs. It was not a good experience for us and we would not recommend this house in its current condition. Thanks.
Very clean, just the two bedrooms upstairs are really small and more like big closets that are not really appropriate for two adults to sleep in (more for kids/teenagers). Nice are, enough parking space

Historic Neighborhood
We enjoyed the location near the Village of East Davenport near the Mississippi river. The older home was spacious and remodeled well.accommodate
My wife and family live in Orem, UT, but have lived and visited all over the country. We own several properties among the Midwest. We love to travel, and love hosting those who do too.
Why they chose this property
It is close the the Villages of Davenport which is an up and coming area for restaurants and shopping along the river front.
What makes this property unique
Newly renovated and feels brand new, but is in the antique part of town.
