This is a gem I never would have found without the help of Vrbo. Thank you so much! My daughter, her dog and I had a fabulous couple of days here. So relaxing!
A bit of a hiccup at check in, Kelly arrived and it was just a glitch. Stunning property, quiet our dogs came alive they just loved it. Very peaceful, lovely room facing the river, Very kind people, and very hospitable, the kitchen was well stocked with healthy food choices. Cannot wait to return.

A unique experience staying in a lodge
The lodge itself is a magnificent log structure with a central dining area and rooms with bath located on either side of a long hallway. Continental breakfast is included. The rooms themselves are not large, but sufficient, and the bathroom is a good size with all amenites you would expect. On the downside, there is no permanent management on site and some maintenance is required.
Lovely property with extremely cozy and comfortable common rooms for relaxing or socializing. Lots of indigenous crafts to admire and TV/books/guitars for entertainment. Access to a mini kitchenette with appliances was helpful. Room and bathroom were roomy and bed very comfortable, but lacking in hooks for towels or shelves/drawers for clothes, even though there is plenty of wall space for it. I did borrow the wool blanket from the common area as we were one of only two couples in residence last night. The bed and linens were very comfortable but extra blankets on cold winter nights just feels luxurious!
The covered veranda was great and we had some conversations with the resident crows who appeared to be gathering nesting materials.
Other: Front entrance could use some extra salt and sand this time of year as the ice was quite treacherous. Staff member that greeted us was quick to respond to the doorbell ring on our arrival and was very kind but any kind of staffing is absent from 5-9pm and 5-9am (which seems like common times for guests to require help checking in, using facilities or checking out?). We just left our key in the room when we vacated.
We hoped to wander the interpretative Center and museum today because it’s open year round but it must be closed on Sundays? Will definitely visit again in summer sometime :)
Fantastic stay! We were visiting family and found this gem just a couple minutes away to stay for the week. Lovely spot! Every night we enjoyed a nice vintage while sitting on the screened in porch. So peaceful.
Excellent stay, very restful which is what we needed!

Stay at Sillilers
I was satisfied overall, but not much on site presence of any management. It’s mostly a self serve operation. No closets or drawers in the room, so not suitable for a stay of more than a couple of days.
